Tyler Rich To Hit West Coast For Rather Be Us Tour

Tyler Rich has announced he will hit the road next month for tour dates along the West Coast for his Rather Be Us Tour, inspired by his current single of the same name. The Valory Music Co. artist will launch the tour with his debut performance at The Troubadour in Los Angeles on March 19. Monument Records’ Teddy Robb will be joining the dates.

“I’m pumped to kick off my first ever headlining tour back to where it all started for me; it’s been too long!” Rich said. “I’m bringing my dude Teddy Robb so rally your friends and let’s show him how we do it on the West Coast with the Rather Be Us Tour.”

Singer-Songwriter Collective Song Suffragettes Set First International Tour

Nashville-based singer-songwriter collective Song Suffragettes will head out on their first international tour in April, featuring Kalie Shorr and Candie Carpenter from the United States, as well as Vic Allen and Bellah Mae in the U.K. Each show will feature an additional, local singer-songwriter on the bill.

The five-city tour will launch April 26 in Glasgow, Scotland and will wrap April 30 in London, England. Presenting sponsors for the tour include Radio Disney Country and C2C: Country to Country, as well as promoter AEG Europe. Additionally, the LSSW Group at J.P. Morgan Securities supports Song Suffragettes year-round. Throughout the U.K. tour, Radio Disney Country will allow fans to follow along on socials and via their “Let The Girls Play” feature, which offers weekly spotlights for Song Suffragettes members.

Over the past five years, the Song Suffragettes have become known for supporting female artists and songwriters and for fighting against gender disparity in all areas of the music community. The group’s weekly showcase at Nashville’s The Listening Room Café has highlighted music from more than 250 female artists and writers, with 16 of those going on to earn record deals and more than 40 landing publishing deals.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. GMT.

Morgan Wallen Sets European Run For May

Morgan Wallen is heading out on his first European headlining run in May following a successful sold-out U.S. headlining run and a nationwide guest slot on Jason Aldean’s We Back Tour. Wallen’s longtime collaborator HARDY will be special guest for the overseas shows, which launch May 14 at Manchester’s Gorilla.

“I can’t wait to get over to the UK for my first time ever,” said Wallen. “I’ve always heard how amazing the fans are over there – looking forward to experiencing it for myself. Y’all get ready for a good time!”

Wallen, who has four Platinum-certified No. 1 singles as a writer under his belt, will tour with Cole Swindell and Thomas Rhett here in the States before heading out on the international run. Ticket pre-sales for the shows begin Feb. 5, and will go on-sale to the general public Feb. 7.

Last week Wallen released a new version of the Platinum-certified Diplo collaboration “Heartless,” adding Julia Michaels to the mix and pairing it with a fiery new music video. He’s currently in the studio working on a new album, due out later this year.

William Prince, Katie Pruitt Announce Tour

William Prince and Nashville singer-songwriter Katie Pruitt have announced they will tour together beginning in April. The tour will launch at Denver, Colorado’s Globe Hall on April 5 and will include stops in Indianapolis, New York, Atlanta, and more.

William Prince will release his new album Reliever on Feb. 7 via Glassnote Records, and will make his US television debut on CBS Saturday tomorrow (Feb. 1). His debut album earned a Juno Award for Best Contemporary Roots Album.

Pruitt recently released the single “Grace Has A Gun,” and will release her debut album Expectations on Feb. 21.

Hot Country Knights Tour To Welcome Hannah Dasher, Tenille Townes, Rachel Wammack, Lainey Wilson

Dierks Bentley‘s ’90s-inspired band Hot Country Knights shared details today about their upcoming new One Knight Stand Tour that launches April 7 in San Diego. This marks the first nationwide headlining trek for the Knights, who will take artists Hannah Dasher, Tenille Townes, Rachel Wammack and Lainey Wilson along for the fun-filled ride.

The 13-city trek includes stops at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theater, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and what is sure to be an unforgettable night at the Talladega Superspeedway. The band recently inked a deal with Bentley’s label home UMG Nashville.

“The Knights started as a live band playing at a little place called Teasers on ‘Two for Tuesdays,’ and they just couldn’t get enough of us down there in Murfreesboro. We’ve got a little money now, so Barry did some work on the van. We got a few little outstanding legal issues handled so we are free and clear to cross state lines again,” explained Bentley’s alter ego Doug Douglason. “Yeah baby, the Knights are riding again!”

Citi is the official presale credit card of the tour, and as such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase pre-sale tickets through Citi Entertainment beginning Tuesday, Feb. 4. Tickets to the general public go on sale next Friday, Feb. 7, and a VVVIP package is available for $99 which will include a once-in-a-KNIGHT-time experience where fans will be dazzled with a dance lesson from the band, as well as early entry to the venues, exclusive merchandise items and more.

The HC Knights also recently released the modern-day drifter’s lament, “Asphalt” and will perform the tune on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Monday, Feb. 3 at 10:35 p.m. CT on ABC, marking their national TV debut.

Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett To Lead Faster Horses Festival

Michigan country music festival Faster Horses Festival will welcome Jason Aldean, Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett to headline its 2020 event.

The eighth annual festival will return to Brooklyn, Michigan on July 17-19. Also on the bill are Jimmie Allen, Ingrid Andress, Kelsea Ballerini, Russell Dickerson, Gone West (ft. Colbie Caillat), Riley Green, HARDY, Chris Lane, Tracy Lawrence, David Lee Murphy, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Mitchell Tenpenny and DeeJay Silver.

Faster Horses Festival is the reigning ACM Festival of the Year, and is part of Live Nation’s collection of country music festivals, which also includes Washington’s Watershed, Florida’s Tortuga Music Festival, Colorado’s Seven Peaks Music Festival, and New York’s TrailBlazer Festival.

George Strait Announces Tour Dates For 2020

George Strait is kicking off the New Year in a big way by announcing some big new shows. The King of Country will head to Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium on Aug. 22 with special guests Chris StapletonLittle Big Town, and more, and tickets for that show will be available Friday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. CT at Ticketmaster.

Ahead of the newly-announced August dates, Strait will also return to the Heartland in 2020 with sold-out performances at INTRUST Bank Arena this Friday, Jan. 24 for “Visit Wichita Presents Strait to Oz” as well as “Strait to the Heartland” at Kansas City’s Sprint Center on Saturday, Jan. 25 and Sunday, Jan. 26.

Additionally, “Strait to Vegas” shows return to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this summer on Aug. 28-29. There, Strait will be joined by a special guest, Monument artist Caitlyn Smith, whose second studio album, Supernova, will be released in March. Tickets to that show will be available Friday, Jan. 31.

Old Dominion Welcomes Dustin Lynch, Carly Pearce For 2020 Tour

Old Dominion are heading out on the road on the U.S. leg of their “We Are Old Dominion Tour,” which kicks off in May. The tour will visit 13 cities, including Key West, Charleston, and Tuscaloosa, with Dustin Lynch and Carly Pearce set to open on select dates.

“We are so excited for this line up! We’ve had the pleasure of playing shows and making music with both Carly Pearce and Dustin Lynch for years now,” said Old Dominion frontman Matt Ramsey. “Dustin brings the heat like no other, and it will be amazing to have a female act as strong as Carly out there with us!”

Old Dominion gained another No. 1 hit on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts with “One Man Band” at the end of 2019. With over 219 million streams, the sweetly sentimental tune marks the band’s eighth consecutive No. 1 and biggest song to date. Chris Young Welcomes Scotty McCreery, Payton Smith For 2020 World Tour

Chris Young, Scotty McCreery, and newcomer Payton Smith will visit a range of arenas and amphitheaters this year, when Young’s headlining Town Ain’t Big Enough World Tour 2020 launches on May 28 in Detroit.

As the first leg of the tour makes stops in U.S. cities including Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, and more, Young will also highlight several Next From Nashville artists at his concerts, with Young and his management company The AMG Management personally selecting artists to play each week during the tour.

“Everyone has been asking about this year since the last tour ended, so I’m happy I finally get to tell everybody about these shows,” Young says. “The ‘Town Ain’t Big Enough’ tour is gonna be the biggest one yet!”

In 2019, Young made several high-profile television appearances including Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, CMA Country Christmas, and CMT Crossroads with Gavin DeGraw. This year, he launched the weekly podcast The Quad with Chris Young. Later this year, he will release a new album, bolstered by his latest single “Drowning,” as well as “Raised On Country” and “Town Ain’t Big Enough,” which features a guest vocal from Lauren Alaina.

The Live Nation-promoted tour will be part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket, with tickets going on-sale for select cities beginning Jan. 24.

Maddie & Tae Plot Tourist In This Town Tour

 

Last year, Maddie & Tae were featured openers for Carrie Underwood’s all-female outing, The Cry Pretty Tour 360. Now, the duo—which includes Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye—seems to be paying it forward on their own upcoming headlining tour.

Maddie & Tae will launch their Tourist In This Town Tour, featuring female trio Avenue Beat opening shows, on April 15 in Baltimore. The tour will run through July, visiting cities including Atlanta, Charleston, and more. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 17.

Later this year, the duo will join Lady Antebellum’s 2020 Ocean Tour. In October 2019, Maddie & Tae released their 5-song Everywhere I’m Goin’ EP.

“Feels so surreal to be going out on a headlining tour, especially with our new record,” said Dye. “These songs are our raw unfiltered stories, and we can’t wait to tell them live.”
