The Academy of Country Music (ACM) is seeking to fulfill the role of Senior Director of Publicity & Media Relations. This position is part of the Academy’s Marketing department and leads all facets of their public relations, press, and media efforts, from strategy, planning, and proactive pitching to execution, real-time optimization, coverage reporting, and analysis, stretching across all media types, platforms, and categories, including consumer, trade, and B2B. This role supports major annual live events, including the ACM Awards and ACM Honors shows and their respective broadcast and streaming distribution plans (currently with Amazon Prime Video and Fox TV). Riser House Entertainment: Product Manager 
Riser House Entertainment is currently seeking a Product Manager to join their team. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relations between the label and all artists/their team. SESAC: Payroll Administrator 
SESAC is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their Nashville team. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of SESAC’s multi-company/ multi-state payroll while assisting with other assigned finance responsibilities. Duties of the Payroll Administrator will include: processing semi-monthly payroll, deductions, and necessary adjustments for over 400 employees using ADP Workforce Now software; ensuring timecards are submitted and reviewed by managers by established deadlines; reviewing timecard approvals and reports for accuracy and working with managers/employees on needed corrections; coordinating setup of new jurisdictions, as needed, and communicating these to ADP for state filings; processing and verifying direct deposit information to guarantee timely submission to the Automated Clearing House; resolving any discrepancies that may occur with individual employee paychecks; ensuring compliance with government, state, and employer guidelines; maintaining absolute confidentiality of the payroll information; processing fringe benefits during the year and upholding the provisions of each employment contract; processing, administering, and calculating employee garnishments received; reviewing tax withholding and depositing to government agencies for accurate tax reporting; reconciling the company’s 941 (employer’s quarterly federal tax return), and wage and tax information against the Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Administration; ensuring the accuracy of earned wages and the timely distribution of the annual W-2’s; resolving/addressing general inquiries and providing an appropriate resolution; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual Account Reconciliations; and ad hoc projects and reporting for senior management as assigned. Candidates must have a degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting or equivalent work experience, such as two or more years of hands-on payroll experience. They should also have knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, rules and regulations, an understanding of/skill in the application of local, state, and federal payroll rules and regulations as well as a comprehensive understanding of Federal wage and hour laws, Internal Revenue Service regulations, and payroll practices. The ideal candidate is a strong team player that is willing to jump in and help when needed with experience working in ADP Workforce Now or a similar ERP system, and expert skills with Microsoft Office Suites (particularly Excel). They are comfortable working with new technologies and have ability to easily learn new software systems, maintain confidentiality, and exercise extreme discretion. The Academy of Country Music (ACM) is looking for bright, fun, hard-working students who love country music and want to see the music entertainment business first-hand. The ideal candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, interest in the country music industry, professional demeanor, flexible schedules, computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite highly preferred), the ability to meet deadlines, and carry out tasks independently. They must also be well organized and detail-oriented. The chosen candidates will work closely with the Academy staff in their Nashville office in one of the following departments: Event Management, Strategic Partnerships, Marketing, Publicity & PR, Lifting Lives (ACM’s charity), Creative & Content Production, Design, Artist & Industry Relations, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. They will additionally complete general administrative duties to support the entire ACM office. Creative and Content Production interns should have experience using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Photoshop. Internships will start in January, running through the end of May 2023, and will be based in Nashville, Tennessee. They will be primarily in person and may require a week of travel surrounding the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards in Frisco, Texas on May 11.
