Maddie & Tae Plot Tourist In This Town Tour

January 14, 2020/by Lorie Hollabaugh

Last year, Maddie & Tae were featured openers for Carrie Underwood’s all-female outing, The Cry Pretty Tour 360. Now, the duo—which includes Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye—seems to be paying it forward on their own upcoming headlining tour.

Maddie & Tae will launch their Tourist In This Town Tour, featuring female trio Avenue Beat opening shows, on April 15 in Baltimore. The tour will run through July, visiting cities including Atlanta, Charleston, and more. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 17.

Later this year, the duo will join Lady Antebellum’s 2020 Ocean Tour. In October 2019, Maddie & Tae released their 5-song Everywhere I’m Goin’ EP.

“Feels so surreal to be going out on a headlining tour, especially with our new record,” said Dye. “These songs are our raw unfiltered stories, and we can’t wait to tell them live.”

“We’ve waited five years to go back out on a headlining tour. We are so excited to see our beautiful fans singing all of this new music,” added Marlow.

TOURIST IN THIS TOWN TOUR DATES:
4/15 – Baltimore Soundstage – Baltimore, MD
4/16 – The Bluestone – Columbus, OH
4/17 – Manchester Music Hall – Lexington, KY
4/29 – Buckhead Theatre – Atlanta, GA
5/1 – Music Farm – Charleston, SC
5/2 – Von Braun Center – Mars Music Hall – Huntsville, AL
5/15 – Varsity Theatre – Baton Rouge, LA
7/11 – Temple Live – Wichita, KS
