Mitchell Tenpenny Takes Over Whiskey Jam
Riser House/Columbia Nashville artist Mitchell Tenpenny played a headlining show at popular music series Whiskey Jam at Winner’s Bar & Grill in Nashville on Monday (Jan. 13), as part of Riser House’s Whiskey Jam takeover. Whiskey Jam launched in 2011 at Winner’s Bar & Grill. What started as an underground writer’s night has grown to become a weekly must-attend event that has welcomed newcomers and hitmakers, including Dustin Lynch, Chris Young, Cole Swindell, Thomas Rhett, and more.
Cooper Alan Stops By SESAC Offices
Rising Singer/Songwriter Cooper Alan stopped by SESAC’s office Monday afternoon (Jan. 13) to play a few songs, including his 2019 release “Climate Change” – written by Alan, Seth Mosley and Victoria Shaw. Cooper is signed to Fabulicious Music Publishing and AvaRu Productions, owned by award-winning songwriter and producer Victoria Shaw.
King Business & Financial Management Announces Promotions And Hiring
Business management firm King Business & Financial Management (KBFM) has announced a round of promotions and hirings. Lucy Hughes has been upped to Client Manager, while Erin Barry has been promoted to Client Bookkeeper, and Michael Belloni joins the team as Office Administrator.
“Lucy and Erin have been intricate pieces to the startup of this firm,” said Chris King, business manager and owner, who started KBFM in early 2019 after splitting from his old business management firm.
Hughes joined KBFM nearly one year ago, and graduated from Auburn University in 2015; she previously worked at Blue Sky Group for more than three years. Barry joined the company in April 2019 and previously worked at Blue Sky Group; she is a 2018 Belmont University graduate. Belloni will graduate from Belmont University in May 2020 and previously interned for Farris, Self & Moore, as well as SSM Nashville.
