Is anyone really suprised in the industry when the principals (investors and co-ventures alike) started bailing early on and tons of capital was used to drive artists that had songs and good voice but nothing much beyond that in terms of today’s idea of “star power”.
Sad really because their initial intention seemed to be to bring forth real music (i.e. Less alteration/More real live artists) as apposed to the autotuned/songs picked/360 involvement of late.
