I’m surprised Carrie’s show even did that well. A very poor representation of the country music format. The show was unprofessional and cheezy at best. Looks like she’s going down the same fateful path of Jessica Simpson.
What? your kidding right? There is no way anyone can say that Carrie us going down the same path as Jessica Simpson. I hate even hearing their names in the same sentence! Carrie is here to stay, she is a star! The holiday special was hilarious! It let us see Carrie’s funny and quirky side. Not to mention, some amazing vocals being shown. You can’t say that it was a poor representation of country music after hearing temporary home, Jesus take the Wheel and what can i say. Those songs were incredible, and so were all the others!
The show reminded me of a Cher Variety Hour or a Carol Burnett show. Wasn’t very country at all, what was she trying to prove with all that corny comedy routines. Why not just do a concert in front of your fans showcasing country music, was she trying to be POP and appeal to that crowd.
You know Garth, Shania, Tim Mcgraw and Faith all had better ratings with their specials.
It was so boring I went to sleep.
Carrie is one outstanding singer but her humor wasn’t there at all. Not a variety performer. And whats all that cheesy, campy girly stuff? One of the other high lights was Dolly Parton.
