Audacy hosted the grand opening of its new Nashville Sound Space last Thursday (Sept. 5) with Thomas Rhett, radio host Katie Neal, contest winners and industry insiders. The space is the company’s seventh broadcast space and first in Nashville.
It includes a production facility, fireside-chat space, performance stage and more. It will also be the home of Neal’s Katie & Company radio show. Each week, she will host different country artists to discuss their songs and more.

Miranda Lambert performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last Thursday (Sept. 5). The Grammy winner treated the audience to a fiery rendition of her track “Wranglers.” The tune serves as the lead single of her Postcards From Texas album, which releases this Friday (Sept. 13).
Lambert will also serve as a presenter at the MTV Video Music Awards tomorrow (Sept. 11).
Ian Munsick Exhibit Opens At Buffalo Bill Center Of The West

Ian Munsick returned to his home state of Wyoming for the unveiling of his curated exhibit as well as a screening and discussion of his White Buffalo: Voices Of The West documentary, hosted by Exclusive Tours at Center of the West. The exhibit honors the legacy of Buffalo Bill Cody, known for his authentic western lifestyle, similar to Munsick.
“From the very beginning of my career, Buffalo Bill Cody has been a huge inspiration in terms of his dedication of sharing authentic western culture with the world,” shared Munsick. “Having my own exhibit on display in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West is a great honor for me in that I feel like I’m following in his footsteps 150 years later. I believe that Voices Of The West has been an instrumental piece of our vision to ‘bring the west to the rest’ as it showcases a piece of cowboy culture that really hasn’t been captured in any format. The Native American cowboy is a sacred secret that deserves to be recognized and appreciated, and that was our primary objective with this documentary. Screening the film at the Center of the West will be a real treat.”
Annual Dogtober Writer’s Round Lineup Revealed 
The PEDIGREE Foundation will host its annual Dogtober Writer’s Round on Oct. 1 at 3rd & Lindsey to raise money for shelters and rescues. Hosted by Marcus Hummon, the event’s lineup includes Jillian Cardarelli, Jake Rose and Grant Vogel. Tickets are available now. For more information, click here.

Bobby Braddock Celebrates Release Of Daughter Lauren’s Single

Country Music Hall of Fame songwriter Bobby Braddock celebrated the release of his daughter Lauren‘s new single, “The Green Green Grass Of Junior’s Farm,” last Friday (Sept. 6) at Sony Music Publishing Nashville.
The tune was co-penned by Bobby and Lauren, with Bobby producing the track. “The Green Green Grass Of Junior’s Farm” aims to recall enduring memories planted in the mind of a wide-eyed, eight-year-old Lauren, while also celebrating the 50-year anniversary of the six-week working holiday of former Beatles member Paul McCartney and family at the 133-acre farm of Bobby’s frequent collaborator Claude “Curly” Putman, Jr. and his wife Bernice in Wilson County, Tennessee. McCartney, who had taken to calling Curly “Junior,” would be inspired to write “Junior’s Farm,” which would become a top five hit just months after their visit in October of 1974.
Michael Bryan Upped To Global Head Of Country Music At Apple

Michael Bryan has been promoted to Global Head of Country Music at Apple. In addition to overseeing country music, he will be responsible for supporting the company’s Christian and gospel teams in Nashville.
Bryan joined Apple in 2020 as Director of Apple Music Country Radio before being promoted to Director of Editorial Operations & Audio Production in 2022. Prior to joining the company, he served as Talent Agent/Artist Development Lead at CAA and spent time in radio, including the role of Sr. VP of Programming for iHeartMedia between 2012 and 2016.
“I’m deeply committed to empowering artists and the brilliant people around me, to fostering a culture where every voice matters—the only path to elevating the music that unites us,” Bryan shared in a LinkedIn post about the promotion.

Tracy Lawrence Sets Date For Annual ‘Mission:Possible Turkey Fry & Benefit Concert’
/by Madison HahnenTracy Lawrence has announced that his annual “Mission:Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert” will return for the 19th year on Nov. 26. The event will take place at the Nashville Fairgrounds in the morning, followed by the benefit concert at Luke Combs’ Category 10 later that night.
Since its inception, Lawrence’s Mission:Possible has fried over 10,000 turkeys, provided more than 86,000 meals to the homeless across Middle Tennessee, donated over one million dollars to Nashville Rescue Mission and raised over $2.5 million, helping to further its goals, advocate for those in need and expand their ability to support aligned causes.
The 2024 fundraiser aims to surpass last year‘s record-breaking 1,400 turkeys fried. The 2023 concert featured Lee Brice, Priscilla Block and Halfway to Hazard and raised $250,000 for the second year in a row—the largest sum raised through the event to date. This year’s performers will be announced at a later date.

Styles Joins UTA Roster

UTA has signed country music songwriter and independent recording artist Styles in all areas of representation.
Styles is building a fan base with his authentic storytelling and musical style. He released his self-titled, six-song EP on Aug. 30 via Good Company Records, with distribution by CmdShft.
As a songwriter, Styles has notched a No. 1 hit with “Country On,” recorded by Luke Bryan, as well as cuts from Craig Morgan and Craig Campbell.
Of the signing, UTA’s Lance Roberts shares, “UTA is excited to join Styles, Kris Rochester, and the Good Company team. Styles’ EP connected with us the moment we heard it.”
Russell Dickerson Announces First Round Of ‘RussellMania’ Dates

CBS Drama ‘Fire Country’ To Hold Season Three Fan Event In Nashville

Over two nights at the NashHouse Southern Spoon and Saloon, fans will be treated to multiple live performances with a show-themed house band, an exclusive preview of season three of Fire Country, food & beverages, immersive activations including a faux tattoo parlor, a build-your-own trucker hat station and a redemption wall. Fans will also have access to purchase exclusive series merchandise.
Oct. 3 will feature performances from Ben Chapman, Alyssa Flaherty, Matt Koziol and Madison Kozak. On Oct. 4, Dawson Anderson, Caitlyn Smith, Maura Streppa and Adam Wakefield will take the stage.
The event is free and open to the public for guests aged 21 and over, but an RSVP is required for entry, and admission is on a first-come basis and subject to capacity limits.

Performers & Presenters Revealed For 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards

Those set to perform include Country Champion honoree Kane Brown and Country Icon honoree Miranda Lambert as well as Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady A, Parker McCollum and The War And Treaty. Fellow country talent Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay and Little Big Town are set to serve as presenters alongside comedian Nate Bargatze. Additional names will be unveiled soon.
Hosted by Shania Twain, the ceremony will air live from the Grand Ole Opry House on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. CT on NBC and Peacock.

Andy Skib Inks With Sheltered Music

Songwriter and producer Andy Skib has signed a global publishing deal with Sheltered Music.
Skib moved to Nashville in 2012 from L.A. and has collaborated with a variety of artists, with cuts by Keith Urban, Hunter Hayes, Mickey Guyton, Adam Doleac, Caylee Hammack and others. His production work includes Kenny Chesney’s song “Streets,” Brett Eldredge’s tracks “No Stopping You” and “Something I’m Good At,” Steve Moakler’s album Make A Little Room, Augustana’s upcoming album Something Beautiful and music from Tenille Townes.
“I first learned of Andy’s talents through co-writes with some of our songwriters,” shares Sr. VP Sheltered Music Publishing Darrell Franklin. “The more I heard, the more I continued to be blown away by both his writing and his production skills. Andy is a great fit for us at Sheltered and we are excited to have the opportunity to represent him and his music.”

Paul Lovelace Passes

Longtime industry member Paul Lovelace passed away at home on Sept. 5. He was 81.
A Paragould, Arkansas native, Lovelace was a national record promotion veteran who spent eight years as VP/Promotion at Capitol Records Nashville. He was also the co-founder of CDX Nashville, a singles delivery system for labels and artists to supply their upcoming singles to all full-time U.S. country stations, satellite providers, syndicators and programming consultants.
Lovelace is survived by his wife Pamela Frazier Lovelace; sister Carolyn Lovelace Nations (and brother-in-law Fred); stepsisters Jo (Jerry) Glover and Patsy (Buddy) Cupp; nieces Anne and Jan Green and nephews Mark (Laura) Green, Scott (Renee) Nations and Todd (Jeremie) Nations. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Steve (Tanya) Frazier and nieces and nephews of his wife Pam.

Megan Moroney To Embark On The ‘Am I Okay? Tour’ Next Spring

The 25-date trek will kickoff on March 20, 2025 in Montreal, QC and will include stops at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, two nights at Nashville’s newest music venue The Pinnacle and more before wrapping up with two nights at the Roadrunner in Boston on August 1 and 2.
“I’m so excited to announce the AM I OKAY? TOUR,” the singer shared to her Instagram. “I get to play some of my bucket list venues & it’s going to be a very blue very magical year on the road. I’m already counting down the days until I get to see your faces & all of your “homemade tshirts & homemade signs” :,) I know I’ve said it a lot but thank you for making all of my dreams come true – just over the mooooooon that I get to do this.”
The name of the tour comes from Moroney’s sophomore album Am I Okay?, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. The debut marked the year’s third biggest from a female country artist. The project features fan favorite tracks “No Caller ID,” “Man On The Moon,” “Indifferent” and more. The title track is currently being serviced at country radio after trending on TikTok.
