The Creekers ‘Follow The Sound’ On New Album

The Creekers have unveiled their sophomore album, Follow The Sound, out now via Warner Records Nashville.

The 12-track project features singles like “The Devil’s Not That Far” and “Little Man,” showing off the band’s signature Appalachian country-bluegrass sound.

The band recently won the 2026 IBMA Momentum Award for Band of the Year. The Creekers recently finished a stint with Turnpike Troubadours and are currently wrapping up their time alongside Gavin Adcock on his “The Day I Hang It Up Tour.”

Formed in Leslie County, Kentucky, The Creekers are a six-piece group, comprised of Tanner Horton (vocals, lead guitar), Allen Hacker (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jagger Bowling (bass, vocals), Ashton Bowling (cajon), Scott Sutton (banjo, vocals) and Anna Blanton (fiddle).

Thomas Edwards Unveils Debut EP

Thomas Edwards released his debut EP High Times on Friday (Oct. 30) via Warner Records Nashville.

The eight-track project was recorded at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Leading into the album’s release, Edwards has been releasing short-form content of his upcoming The Story of Trying: Part I documentary project, slated for release on Nov. 6. The film shows a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process behind High Times.

“Most of this project is first and second takes from the studio floor of Muscle Shoals – we wanted to make sure the human element rang throughout every song without combing through and making everything sound ‘perfect,’” says Edwards.

“We included traditional country instrumentation like banjo and fiddle, in addition to more rock and soul instrumentation to capture my love for soul, country, and Motown music. Combining the elements of music I grew up on with music I have fallen in love with as an adult has been the most rewarding musical experience of my career.”

Megan Moroney, Jon Pardi & Collective Soul To Headline Country Thunder Saskatchewan 2027

Megan Moroney, Jon Pardi and Collective Soul are set to headline Country Thunder Saskatchewan 2027 July 8-11.

For its 44th edition, the festival has unveiled a powerhouse main stage lineup packed with chart-toppers, legendary rock acts and some Canadian homegrown talent as well. Amazon Music To Present Parker McCollum Veterans Day Concert Sponsored By UA Freedom

Parker McCollum will honor our military members at a special Amazon Music Veterans Day concert streaming live from Austin, Texas on Nov. 10.

Created together with Under Armour’s UA Freedom platform, “Amazon Music Presents: Parker McCollum Honoring Veterans Day, Live from Texas” will take place in front of a hometown crowd of active military members and veterans, their families and UA Freedom guests at Austin City Limits (ACL) Live at The Moody Theater. Viewers everywhere can also tune in to the show in real time at 8 p.m. CT on Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch.

The concert carries a special meaning for McCollum, a longtime advocate for the military community. As the new face of UA Freedom, Under Armour’s platform and product line that supports military members, veterans, and first responders and their families, he is continuing his commitment to honor those who have dedicated their lives in service of this country. The performance is all about celebrating the work of UA Freedom and its partners and championing the people and families they support.

Zach Top Wraps ‘Cold Beer & Country Music Tour’ With Sold-Out Bridgestone Arena Finale

Zach Top brought his “Cold Beer & Country Music Tour” to a close Friday night (Oct. 30) with a sold-out show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, capping a run that sold 921,820 tickets since its launch.

Dressed sharply in a suit, matching the rest of his band, Top delivered a more-than-two-hour, 30-song set that pulled from across his two albums, mixed in a handful of well-chosen covers and welcomed special guests Brandon Coleman of The Red Clay Strays and Lukas Nelson.

Top isn’t one for long speeches between songs. For most of the night, he simply smiled out at the crowd and let the music carry the show. When he did step up to talk, he was humble and grateful.

“I started coming to this town in 2018. Kept my head down, it was close to five years or something, just writing songs and wishing to God I could go out and play some shows and that some people would show up and wanna hear me sing the songs that I’ve been writing,” Top told the crowd. “Roughly two and a half, three years ago, that started happening. It’s been a wild ride ever since then. And I can’t thank each and every one of you enough for being here tonight and making a youthful hillbilly from Sunnyside, Washington’s dreams come true.”

Top opened with “Sounds Like the Radio,” and the arena was on its feet early. Fans danced with each other in their seats through favorites like the Platinum-certified “Bad Luck” and “When You See Me,” along with his current Gold-certified single, “South of Sanity.”

One of the night’s most striking moments came without any introduction at all. Top eased into a cover of the late John Anderson’s “Seminole Wind” and let the song speak for itself.

The bluegrass section, a staple of any Zach Top show given his roots in the genre, was a treat. He paid tribute to bluegrass king Bill Monroe with “Big Mon,” played the fan favorite “In a World Gone Wrong” and tore through Keith Allison’s “Freeborn Man.”

The crowd erupted when Coleman joined Top onstage. The pair performed “Use Me” before launching into a cover of Genesis’ “That’s All,” which Top said they had learned that day just for fun. Later, Top brought out Nelson for “Last Thing I Needed First Thing This Morning,” a song recorded by Nelson’s father, Willie Nelson.

As the night built toward its finish, Top’s first No. 1, the four-times Platinum “I Never Lie,” sent the arena into a singalong, followed by the tour’s namesake, “Cold Beer & Country Music.” He returned for an encore of “I Know a Place” and a cover of Shenandoah’s “Two Dozen Roses,” before closing out the tour with its final song, “Things To Do.”

The tour’s conclusion caps a landmark stretch for Top. His Ain’t In It For My Health won Best Traditional Country Album at the 68th Grammy Awards, the inaugural winner in the category. The reigning CMA New Artist of the Year heads into the upcoming 60th Annual CMA Awards with nominations for Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, and he is set to headline the 2027 Stagecoach Music Festival.

Morgan Wallen, Kings Of Leon & Ella Langley To Headline 2027 Sand In My Boots Festival

Ella Langley and Kings of Leon will join Morgan Wallen as headliners on Wallen’s “Sand In My Boots Festival” when it returns to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama on May 21 – 23, 2027.

The “Sand In My Boots” lineup reflects Wallen’s own musical identity, bringing together his closest collaborators, favorite artists, and those who have inspired him throughout his career. Country stars on the 2027 lineup including Koe Wetzel, Cole Swindell, Avery Anna, Midland, Gavin Adcock, Kameron Marlowe, Hudson Westbrook, Kashus Culpepper, Carter Faith, Corey Kent, Vincent Mason, and more.

The festival also includes wide-ranging musical influences including hip-hop heavyweights Nelly, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Juicy J, Project Pat, Ying Yang Twins and Flo Rida, alongside electronic standouts Kygo, Empire of the Sun and Girl Talk, rock icons Third Eye Blind, and many more.

“One thing I’m looking forward to the most about bringing the Sand In My Boots Festival back is being able to have new concepts on stage and trying to elevate the experience overall for the fans, myself and other artists on the bill,” shares Wallen. “I think it’s going to be really top-notch and we’re going to try to do it even better this time.”

Wallen will also continue his commitment to giving back to the community at Sand In My Boots through his Morgan Wallen Foundation, which supports sports and music programs for youth. In 2025, the foundation donated over $200,000 in instruments to five schools in Alabama. Since the start of MWF’s Tour Give Back initiative, the foundation has contributed over $2 million worth of instruments to schools in need across U.S. touring cities.

Jillian Cardarelli Celebrates Opry Debut

Jillian Cardarelli made her Grand Ole Opry debut last week (Oct. 27) during the 18th Annual Opry Goes Pink event, just months after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis at age 33.

Cardarelli was introduced by Andrea Canning, NBC News correspondent and Dateline NBC journalist, who is a good friend of the artist. Additional performers on the lineup included Megan Moroney, Mandy Barnett, Mackenzie Carpenter, Deana Carter, Briley King and Benny G. 

Her Opry debut held special significance as Cardarelli celebrated being cancer-free during an evening dedicated to breast cancer awareness and supporting those affected by the disease.

Earlier this summer, Cardarelli publicly shared her breast cancer diagnosis to encourage other young women to be proactive about their breast health. She underwent treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston while continuing to pursue her music and acting career. Despite the challenges, she continued recording and releasing music and traveled to Canada to film Season 2 of the Great American Family network series Crossroad Springs, in which she stars as Janie Carson, streaming now.

CMHOFM To Celebrate Veterans Day With Free Admission For Armed Services Members

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will honor active-duty and retired armed services members with free museum admission on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11.

The museum will also extend free admission for up to three immediate family members as an additional token of thanks to the United States Armed Forces, past and present.

Between 10 a.m.-noon in the museum’s Taylor Swift Education Center, visitors will also have the opportunity to share appreciation for our military members by creating postcards with Hatch Show Print for active-duty troops. Attendees can create a printing plate to use in the museum’s circa-1940s proof press and print their own postcard. Through A Million Thanks, a nonprofit organization that provides support to military members, cards will be mailed to those serving overseas. There is a long history of country stars serving in the U.S. military, including Country Music Hall of Fame members Johnny Cash, George Jones, Willie Nelson and Elvis Presley, and many others.

Tickets can be reserved by calling 615-416-2001, or can be obtained at the museum’s box office on Nov. 11. Valid military ID is required to claim tickets, and advanced reservations are highly recommended. Active duty and retired armed services members will also receive a 10% discount at the Museum Store and the Hatch Show Print retail store on Nov. 11.

Free admission is available only for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Tours of Hatch Show Print and Historic RCA Studio B are offered for a fee, based on availability.
