Kenny Chesney tops the MusicRow Radio Chart this week with his hit “Carry On.”

The track comes off of Chesney’s twenty-first studio album Silver Sands Marina and was written by Chase McGill, Matt Jenkins and Jessi Alexander.

Last week, The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum celebrated the opening of its “Kenny Chesney: Living in Fast Forward” exhibit presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum.

“Carry On” currently sits at No. 10 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and No. 8 on the Mediabase chart.

K. MICHELLE / “Jesus & Whiskey”

– This is the title tune of an album that will drop on Oct. 16. K. Michelle is an r&b star and a standout on TV’s Real Housewives of Atlanta and Love & Hip Hop. Her move to Nashville was a re-boot, and her transition to country music rings with authenticity. Bush’s production is marvelously supportive of her earnest, plaintive delivery of the heartache tune. She even yodels a bit. Applause, applause.

REBA McENTIRE / “Ring, Ring”

– Reba’s calling. She’s in police custody and in a heap of trouble because of rowdy behavior involving clocking a rival in a honky-tonk. The track rocks, the lyric is clever as hell, and the superstar’s vocal is packed with personality.

LANCE COWAN / “The Air That You Breathe”

– Sensitive, engrossing and intimate. This touching world portrait is the title tune of the new album by this folkie Americana artist. The entire acoustic collection is gentle audio seduction.

THEO LAWRENCE / “I Love You, Bartender”

– Wry and winking. The lightly Latin rhythm is sweet and steel-soaked. His softly crooning singing style tackles the lyric with complete seriousness. Ya gotta love this guy: He issued his song on a 45 r.p.m. vinyl record.

Kenny Chesney Unveils ‘Silver Sands Marina’ Track List

Kenny Chesney has revealed the track list to his upcoming album, Silver Sands Marina, due Sept. 25 via HEY NOW Records.

“It’s funny how records show you who they are,” Chesney shares. “And Silver Sands Marina came together in a whole other way when we found the title track and a couple others. When we went in and cut those last three tracks, I realized: it’s like a rock in your shoe, it’ll bother you until it’s right when you’re dealing in songs. But when it’s right, you know.”

The 11-track project features Megan Moroney, Lily Meola and Colbie Caillat. Chesney previewed the album earlier this year with “Carry On,” a top 10 single on country radio.

“Some of these songs are unlike anything people have heard, or haven’t heard in a long time,” says Chesney. “Some of them go deep, some of them will make people turn it up, a few will make them laugh… But, together, I think they’ll remind them how great it is to be alive. Even on days where you need a song like ‘Carry On,’ we’re making the best of what we’ve got.”

Chesney will appear tonight (July 30) on TalkShopLive at 7 p.m. EST to talk about what makes the songs special, his guests and answer fan questions.

Michaela Anne To Embark On Fall Headline Tour

Singer-songwriter Michaela Anne will launch a new headline tour in the fall.

The tour is in support of her latest album, These Are The Days, which was released earlier this year, and will include stops in Columbus, Chicago, Washington D.C., Portsmouth, and more through Nov. 15.

These Are The Days recently broke into the Top 20 of the Americana Radio Chart, and Anne recently appeared as a featured guest on Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast, and made a return appearance on Mountain Stage, adding to an already banner year of recognition for the singer-songwriter.

Written during a season of profound personal transition, These Are The Days reflects Anne’s experiences raising two young children while helping care for her mother following a life-altering stroke. Exploring motherhood, caregiving, resilience, and the beauty found in everyday life, the album grapples with love, grief, resilience and the sacred weight of ordinary life.

CCMA To Induct The Wilkinsons Into The 2026 Canadian Country Music Hall Of Fame

The Wilkinsons will be inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame as the 2026 Artist inductee.

The trio will be formally inducted during a ceremony alongside 2026 Stan Klees Builder Hall of Fame inductee Ron Kitchener, as part of Country Music Week 2026 Sept. 16–19 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

One of Canada’s most celebrated country acts, The Wilkinsons earned international acclaim through their signature family harmonies, heartfelt songwriting, and catalogue of hits. Comprised of Amanda, Steve and Tyler Wilkinson, the trio emerged in the late 90s, finding success both at home and south of the border. The Wilkinsons’ debut album, Nothing But Love, spawned hit singles including “Fly The Angel Song,” “Jimmy’s Got a Girlfriend,” “Shame on Me,” “Boy Oh Boy,” and the Gold-certified “Nothing but Love,” which became a staple on country radio across North America.

The album’s breakout hit, “26 Cents” reached No. 1 in Canada, No. 1 on the Radio & Records chart (R&R), and No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Throughout their career they have also won a JUNO Award and 11 CCMA Awards, including Group of the Year, Album of the Year and Single of the Year. Tanesha Bradshaw Elevated To VP Of Human Resources At K-LOVE

Tanesha Bradshaw has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources at K-LOVE, the parent organization of leading Christian radio networks K-LOVE and Air1.

In her new role, Bradshaw will continue leading the ministry’s people strategy and oversee key human resources functions across the organization. She will report to Chief Legal and Compliance Officer Brooklyn Belk.

Throughout her career, she has developed a track record of collaborative leadership across core HR disciplines, including employee and labor relations, benefits administration and strategy, policy development and process improvement, talent management and workforce planning. The Georgia native holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Master of Theological Studies from Lipscomb University. She is also an ordained minister, wife of a minister, and devoted mother.

The Academy of Country Music hosted an exclusive Creative Directors Panel at BMI Tuesday night (July 28) for ACM Members. Moderated by Ania Hammar (Host, The Highway), the conversation featured Cece Dawson (Creative Director, Lainey Wilson & Megan Moroney), Mike DuPree (SVP/Creative Director, Warner Records Nashville), and Patrick Tracy (Creative Director, Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban), who shared insights into their creative journeys in country music, the evolving role of creative direction in today’s industry, the impact of AI, and more. In addition to the panel, attendees had the opportunity to receive complimentary professional headshots, courtesy of Steven Campos.

Thomas Rhett makes a special appearance in Season 2 of the Netflix series Ransom Canyon, performing his most recent No. 1, “Ain’t A Bad Life,” featuring Jordan Davis. The show debuted atop the Netflix charts after returning for Season 2 last week, The performance brings one of country music’s biggest collaborations of the year to the screen and marks another major crossover moment for Rhett, who is currently on his “The Soundtrack to Life Tour.”

 

Hillary Scott & The Scott Family Celebrate A Decade Of ‘Love Remains’

Hillary Scott & The Scott Family appeared last night (July 28) at the Grand Ole Opry to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their faith-based country album, LOVE REMAINS. Standing beside her parents Linda Davis and Lang Scott and sister Rylee, Scott performed the soul-stirring title track and No. 1 single, “Thy Will.” Adding to the milestone event, album collaborators met them onstage for songs that they had been featured on, with producer Ricky Skaggs appearing for “The Faithful Love of Jesus,” and The Whites joining in (with Skaggs) for a mash-up of “The River (Come on Down)” and “Ain’t No Grave.” Also on the bill was Grand Ole Opry members Lady A, where Scott came together with her bandmates for “Need You Now,”  “American Honey,” “What If I Never Get Over You,” and their own moving rendition of “Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good.”

Ryan Bingham has inked with WME.

Bingham first garnered attention with his debut studio album, Mescalito, in 2007. In 2010, Bingham won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Grammy Award and a Critics’ Choice Award for his song “The Weary Kind” from the film Crazy Heart. He was named Artist of the Year by the Americana Music Association the same year. Bingham is widely recognized by television audiences for his recurring role as the enigmatic ex-con and singer Walker on Paramount’s Yellowstone. His original music, including the track “Wolves” from his album American Love Song, has been heavily featured on the show.

In May, Bingham released They Call Us The Lucky Ones, his first full-length project with his backing band The Texas Gentlemen, and hit the road for his headlining “Still Gettin’ Away With It Tour ‘26,” which ran through June. After a few festival performances, he will finish the summer supporting Zach Bryan on stadium dates in San Diego, Salt Lake City, Denver and Glendale, Arizona, starting later this month.

Allison Pilotti Joins Ten Ten Music Group

Allison Pilotti has joined Ten Ten Music Group as Head of Creative.

In this role, Pilotti will lead all creative initiatives while actively supporting A&R efforts for the company.

The Belmont University graduate most recently spent time at Riser House Entertainment, where she worked closely with acclaimed songwriters including Dallas Wilson, Mitchell Tenpenny, Michael Whitworth and Jake Mitchell. In addition to her publishing work, she worked with Riser House’s recording artists, including The Wldlfe, Stephen Day, Dillon Carmichael, Ash Ruder and others.

WSM Radio To Launch ‘The Kelly Sutton Show’

WSM Radio will launch “The Kelly Sutton Show” on Aug. 10 on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Longtime WSM Radio personality and Grand Ole Opry host, Charlie Mattos, will join Sutton as producer and co-host, alongside WSM Studio Director Annie Ney. WSM personality and Kelly’s Amazon Music co-host Amber Anderson will also contribute to the show regularly. Segments of “The Kelly Sutton Show” will be streamed across WSM’s social media platforms.
