Kacey Musgraves flips the switch on the Grand Ole Opry’s signature barn backdrop, turning it pink, at the 7th Annual “Opry Goes Pink” show.

In support of breast cancer awareness, Kacey Musgraves and many other country artists performed at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday (Oct. 27) . Musgraves had the honors of flipping a giant light switch, turning the Opry’s signature backdrop pink.

Opry members Terri Clark, Montgomery Gentry, Lorrie Morgan and Jeannie Seely were also on the Tuesday night’s Opry lineup, as were Cassadee Pope and Nashville actress Clare Bowen.

The evening kicked off with Women Rock For The Cure representatives cutting a pink ribbon and leading a pink carpet walk into the Grand Ole Opry House for the show. The group is made up of breast cancer survivors and members of their support networks. They were followed by fans on the carpet, all pledging to support the fight against the disease.

Women Rock For The Cure is a Nashville-based 501(c)(3) organization committed to connecting and supporting young women facing breast cancer. Founded in 2007, the organization works to build awareness and provide outreach programs through the power of the entertainment industry.

The Opry donated $5 from every ticket to the show sold between Sept. 22 and Oct. 27 to Women Rock For The Cure.
