Jennifer Nettles Set For Broadway
Jennifer Nettles is headed for Broadway. Starting Feb. 2, 2015, the singer will play sassy character “Roxie Hart” in the classic show Chicago. The eight-week engagement runs through March 29 at the Ambassador Theatre. Among the stars that have also portrayed “Roxie” are Melanie Griffith and Kara DioGuardi.
Reba McEntire is another country singer who played on Broadway. She acted in Annie Get Your Gun.
