Nashvillians on 'Billboard's' 40 Under 40 List

Billboard’s just released “40 Under 40” list includes a few familiar faces from Music Row. See the complete list in the print issue dated Aug. 3. The first thirty names are posted online, while the remainder will be revealed on Wednesday, July 31.
Ben Vaughn, 37, Exec. VP, Warner/Chappell Nashville
His 13-year career includes time heading Big Tractor Music, EMI Music Publishing and now Warner/Chappell. His tenure at EMI was very successful and in his current role he has signed hit writers Liz Rose and Derek George, as well as others through a partnership with THiS Music.

Laura Hutfless, 31, Music Sponsorship Agent, CAA
Hutfless recently secured deals between Hunter Hayes and Pepsi, as well as Hayes and Country Financial. She also worked with ConAgra Foods and Feeding America to pair them with rising artists Cody Simpson, Amber Riley and Tori Kelly.

Marcie Allen, 39, Founder/president, MAC Presents
Allen has spent 18 years brokering music sponsorship deals. In the last year the Nashville native turned New Yorker has paired Citi with the Rolling Stones and Lady Antebellum, and Green Day with Nokia Music.
