CRS Update: UMG Events, Bob Kingsley's Acoustic Alley

crsCountry Radio Seminar has announced the lineups for the UMG Nashville events at CRS 2013, which runs Feb. 27 – March 1, 2013 at the Nashville Convention Center.
“Team UMG at the Ryman” (Wednesday, Feb. 27, noon) Luncheon with performances by Billy Currington, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Darius Rucker, David Nail, Dierks Bentley, Drake White, Eric Church, Eric Paslay, Josh Turner, Kacey Musgraves, Kelleigh Bannen, Lady Antebellum, Lauren Alaina, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Mickey Guyton, Randy Montana, Scotty McCreery and Vince Gill. A box lunch will be provided inside the Convention Center prior to the show. Capitol Record’s Little Big Town is also confirmed for a performance of the national anthem at the opening ceremonies on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m.
Capitol and MCA Records Luncheon (Thursday, Feb. 28) in the Convention Center’s Performance Hall with headliner Gary Allan and opener Jon Pardi.
“Bob Kingsley’s Acoustic Alley” (Thursday, Feb. 28, 7 p.m.- midnight) The show in the Renaissance Hotel’s Belmont Room will feature hit songwriters Rhett Atkins, Tom Douglas, Marv Green, Ben Hayslip, Natalie Hemby, Luke Laird, Shane McAnally, Wendell Mobley, Jeff Stevens and several surprise guests. Presented by Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40 and co-sponsored by SunTrust Bank. A CRS badge will be required for admittance.
MusicRow‘s CRS Meet & Greet and CountryBreakout Awards (Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.) The invitation-only event will take place at Margaritaville in downtown Nashville with performances by rising stars High Valley and Jaida Dreyer. MusicRow’s CountryBreakout Awards recognize artists who earned the most airplay on the MusicRow CountryBreakout Chart during the preceding year. For 2013, the awards have been expanded to include new honors for Male Artist of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Group of the Year. These recognitions join longstanding awards for Label of the Year, Breakout Artist of the Year, Independent Artist of the Year, and CountryBreakout Reporter of the Year.
Friday, Feb. 15 is the deadline to purchase $499 regular rate registrations for CRS 2013. The on-site rate of $599 will take effect Feb. 16. In addition, the $99 unemployment rate will expire. Visit www.CountryRadioSeminar.com for more information.
