The Media Collective Adds Publicist Sarah Lai

Publicist Sarah Lai has joined The Media Collective. Since 2009 she had worked at Warner Music Nashville handling publicity initiatives for WMN’s and Word Entertainment’s country and Christian acts including Blake Shelton, Chris August, Gloriana, Big & Rich, Frankie Ballard, Francesca Battistelli, for KING & COUNTRY, Hunter Hayes and Point of Grace. She has also worked on the publicity team for Women Rock for the Cure, the Nashville-based organization supporting young women with breast cancer.
The Media Collective, headed by 21 year public relations veteran Velvet Kelm, has a past and present client list that includes Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Skillet, MercyMe, Chris Tomlin, Owl City, TobyMac, American Idol’s Mandisa, Chris August and Matthew West.
“Something that is always a focus here is our desire and ability to obtain multiple levels and styles of coverage for our clients, and introduce them, their talent and their stories to the widest audience possible,” remarks Kelm. “Sarah’s work in both the country and Christian genres will absolutely enhance our efforts here.
