Gene Watson took the stage at Douglas Corner recently as special guest of 45RPM, a respected band of session players and songwriters who perform only classic country songs. The night was partly a celebration for Watson’s newly released album A Taste of The Truth (Shanachie Records) which was produced by 45RPM’s Dirk Johnson. Bluegrass star Rhonda Vincent and singer/songwriter Billy Yates joined Watson on stage. Vincent and Watson duet on the project’s lead single, “Staying Together.”
