Ian Munsick Partners With Triple Tigers Records

Ian Munsick has partnered with Triple Tigers Records, under his own label WEST TO THE REST RECORDS.
“Every artist dreams of partnering with a record label that not only understands their vision, but creates a clear, passionate plan on how to reach that destination,” says Munsick. “After I played some of my new music for the team at Triple Tigers, they told me exactly what songs they thought could achieve that vision. In a day in age where labels often rely on third parties for opinions that may or may not eventually lead to action, it was so refreshing to hear the words ‘that song is a hit’ when playing a guitar/vocal work tape for the label heads. Results are never guaranteed in the music industry, but I am confident that the combination of this new era of Ian Munsick music and the strategic workhorse of Triple Tigers will result in a true 50/50 partnership made in country and western heaven.”
“Ian Munsick is the ultimate artist: unique identifiable voice, compelling songs and perspective, established brand and a massive fanbase that is growing by leaps and bounds. We are ecstatic to partner with Ian and are ready to take country music by storm,” add Triple Tigers Co-Presidents Kevin Herring and Annie Ortmeier.
The debut single from the new label and partnership, “Geronimo,” will be released this Friday (Jan. 30). The track was co-penned by Munsick, Devin Dawson and Mike Robinson, with production from Munsick and Robinson.
“Something tells me this is gonna be a big one…,” shares Munsick. “No word personifies the feeling of partnering with a new label, in a new year, and welcoming in the next chapter better than ‘Geronimo.’ In this song you’ll find themes of my old music like land and love but this time, blanketed in a sonic texture that perfectly captures who I am as an artist. It’s familiar yet eclectic, modern yet traditional, raw yet refined and with your help, it may very well be the biggest song I’ve ever released. Here’s to the new age… geronimo!!!”
Munsick will embark on his “Eagle Flies Free Tour,” kicking off Feb. 13 in Charlotte, with stops in Atlanta, Bozeman, Portland, and more. Special guests on the run include Lanie Gardner, Ben Haggard, Tyler Nance and Jake Worthington.

RFD Network Rebrands With New Multi-Platform Strategy
/by Lauryn SinkRFD Network has officially rebranded from Rural Media Group. The change reflects the company’s shift from a primarily distribution-led operation to a content-first network centered on original rural programming across television, streaming, digital and audio.
Led by Gatsby Gottsch Solheim and Raquel Gottsch Koehler, RFD Network has unified its core platforms including RFD-TV (linear), RFD+ (streaming), Rural Radio on SiriusXM, podcasts, and digital properties under a single network brand.
“This evolution is about honoring our roots while investing in the content needed to serve the next generation of farmers and ranchers and the challenges ahead,” says Solheim, Co-Owner and Chief Financial and Legal Officer. “Our television programming has long served the people who work every day to feed and fuel our world. Today, we are expanding that focus to better serve the one in five Americans who identify as rural and are often overlooked by national media. By strengthening our platforms and making our programming easier to discover across every screen, we’re ensuring rural stories remain accessible, relevant, and visible, no matter how or where audiences choose to watch.”
The company has refreshed its branding to include updated logos. Expanded content will include new original music programming produced from Fort Worth’s Stockyards rolling out in May, the first original podcast, Dirt Diaries, and more.
