RFD Network Rebrands With New Multi-Platform Strategy
RFD Network has officially rebranded from Rural Media Group. The change reflects the company’s shift from a primarily distribution-led operation to a content-first network centered on original rural programming across television, streaming, digital and audio.
Led by Gatsby Gottsch Solheim and Raquel Gottsch Koehler, RFD Network has unified its core platforms including RFD-TV (linear), RFD+ (streaming), Rural Radio on SiriusXM, podcasts, and digital properties under a single network brand.
“This evolution is about honoring our roots while investing in the content needed to serve the next generation of farmers and ranchers and the challenges ahead,” says Solheim, Co-Owner and Chief Financial and Legal Officer. “Our television programming has long served the people who work every day to feed and fuel our world. Today, we are expanding that focus to better serve the one in five Americans who identify as rural and are often overlooked by national media. By strengthening our platforms and making our programming easier to discover across every screen, we’re ensuring rural stories remain accessible, relevant, and visible, no matter how or where audiences choose to watch.”
The company has refreshed its branding to include updated logos. Expanded content will include new original music programming produced from Fort Worth’s Stockyards rolling out in May, the first original podcast, Dirt Diaries, and more.
