
Luke Bryan will wrap his “Sunset Repeat Tour” for the fourth consecutive year at Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions. The tour boasts three previous sold-out concerts at the stadium and this year’s show will include Cole Swindell, Jon Langston and DJ Rock. The “Sunset Repeat Tour” launches May 31 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the BB&T Pavilion.
“I love a good family tradition and this has become one!” said Bryan. “Wrapping up my tour for the fourth time at Ford Field is seriously unbelievable. This crowd brings so much energy and a big party and I can’t wait to get back there.”
Tickets for the Oct. 25 show will go on sale to the public Friday, May 17. Citi is the official presale credit card of the “Sunset Repeat Tour at Ford Field” and as such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Monday, May 13th until Thursday, May 16th through Citi’s Private Pass Program.

Eric Paslay Sets Fourth European Tour
/by Jessica NicholsonAfter recently signing an exclusive songwriting agreement with Big Machine Music, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Eric Paslay is making plans for his fourth European tour set to launch in August. The three-week tour will take him across Germany, Scotland and the United Kingdom in addition to his first concerts in Ireland, the Netherlands and Sweden.
During the tour, Eric will return to Glasgow, Scotland where he recorded a live album in 2018 that is set for release before the tour launches this summer. More details will be announced soon.
“I’m so eager to get back to Europe and play music,” shares Paslay. “The fans welcomed us so warmly on all our previous tours and made all the shows so much fun. We look forward to experiencing the local cultures and mixing in some tourist opportunities too.”

Songwriter/artist/ producer Brett James performed this week before a full house at Nashville’s City Winery. It was the Grammy-winning writer’s first full-band performance in 20 years and proceeds benefited MusiCares, a nonprofit charity of The Recording Academy that aids music people in need.
James performed material from True Believer, a solo album written and produced by him, that will be released later this year.
“Brett’s connection to the crowd was instant, thanks to amazing blue-eyed soul vocals and that signature storytelling. He’s created a very personal project with universal appeal,” said Ben Vaughn, president, Warner/Chappell Music Nashville.
More than five thousand dollars was raised for MusiCares.

Global independent music distributor Symphonic Distribution hosted the heavy-hitters of Nashville’s music industry at their launch party on Tuesday (May 7) in conjunction with Music Biz 2019 on the Acme Feed & Seed rooftop. Symphonic announced the opening of two new offices April 1 in Nashville and Columbia.
“I am beyond thrilled at the response we have received since opening our offices. This party being our official kick-off party along with the Music Business Association’s official awards after party brought together friends, songwriters, artists, and other industry players to celebrate new beginnings and a bright future,” says Randall Foster, VP of Business Development/Nashville GM.

Old Dominion Extends Make It Sweet Tour
/by Lorie HollabaughOld Dominion has added new dates and cities to their “Make It Sweet Tour” including shows in Charlotte, Tampa, Tulsa, Las Vegas, and Honolulu. The tour will include special guests including Scotty McCreery, Michael Ray, and Jordan Davis, who has been added to the international run. Morgan Evans, Ryan Griffin, and Ryan Hurd are set to open on select dates.
Old Dominion played a sold-out hometown show last weekend at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater following their performance on the mainstage at Stagecoach Country Music Festival. Last week, they released their deeply personal new song “Some People Do.” The band’s current single “Make It Sweet,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts.
