Michael Ray Announces Nineteen Tour

Michael Ray is launching his Nineteen Tour in February, and will make several appearances at a number of high-profile events, including Tortuga Music Festival, Stagecoach, Faster Horses, and several other festivals. He will also make his first trip across the pond for the C2C: Country to Country Festival, where fans can catch him at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow on March 8, on the Spotlight Stage at The O2 on March 9 in London, and a second performance at The O2 on March 10. The Spotlight Stage features performances from country’s rising stars between main artist sets.

The country star will also make a return to Australia’s CMC Rocks 2019 before resuming shows in the U.S.

Kylie Sackley Signs With Deluge Music

Kylie Sackley has signed a publishing deal with Deluge Music.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Kylie’s since she came to Nashville and was fortunate to also be a part of her first hit single with LeAnn Rimes “Nothing ‘Bout Love” and look forward to much success together going forward,” said Deluge Music president Mark Friedman.

Sackley has also had songs recorded by Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Alan Jackson, Faith Hill, and most recently co-wrote Walker Hayes’ chart-topper “You Broke Up With Me.”

“So excited to start this amazing new chapter with Deluge Music!” said Sackley.

ACM Announces Radio Awards Nominees

The Academy of Country Music has announced the Radio Awards nominees for the 54th ACM Awards, including triple nominations for WYCD-FM in Detroit, Michigan, and KUZZ-FM in Bakersfield, California; and double nominations for KUBL-FM in Salt Lake City, Utah, WMIL-FM in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, WYCT-FM in Pensacola, Florida and KORA-FM in Bryan, Texas.

The Radio Awards are given out during the annual Radio Winners Reception which will be held on Saturday, April 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the day prior to the ACM Awards live telecast from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 8 p.m. ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network. Chris Young To Kick Off Raised On Country Tour In May

Chris Young is launching his Raised On Country Tour beginning May 16 in Alpharetta, GA. The first leg of the 2019 tour will visit 25 cities coast to coast through September. Special guest Chris Janson will also appear on the dates along with Dylan Scott, LOCASH and Jimmie Allen.

“Last year on the road was incredible and I’m crazy excited to get back out there with new music and the Raised On Country Tour, and to have Chris Janson, Dylan Scott, Jimmie Allen and Preston and Chris from LOCASH join me on tour,” said Young.

Tickets for the Raised On Country Tour 2019 go on sale beginning February 15. Fans can purchase tickets now for select cities as part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket and additional dates will continue to roll out over the coming weeks. In addition, VIP packages will be available.

Cage The Elephant To Release New Album In April

Rock band Cage The Elephant has announced their upcoming album, Social Cues, will release April 19 via RCA Records.

The album, the band’s first since 2015’s Tell Me I’m Pretty, is produced by John Hill. The project was recorded in several studios, among them Nashville’s Sound Emporium, Battle Tapes Recording, and Blackbird Studio.

The band also released the album’s first single, “Ready To Let Go,” with the video directed by Cage The Elephant lead singer Matt Shultz.

“When I’m creating, I try to put myself in a reactive state of improvisational thought,” Schultz says. “I let images just arise in my mind and wait for it to evoke an emotional response and then when it does, I know I’m on to something. I was watching a lot of Fassbinder films, like World on a Wire and The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant. I was thinking about their beauty coupled with the graphic surrealism of Aronofsky.”
