David Nail's 'I'm A Fire' Tour Launching in September

David Nail will launch his I’m A Fire Tour in September. He will bring Show Dog-Universal duo Native Run to open shows.
The tour will visit 22 cities, including Boston; Tulsa, Okla.; San Antonio; Green Bay, Wis.; and others. Earlier this year, Nail showcased songs from his album I’m A Fire on Darius Rucker‘s True Believers Tour, as well as Lady Antebellum‘s Take Me Downtown Tour.

Tim McGraw‘s upcoming Big Machine Records project, Sundown Heaven Town, will release Sept. 16. The album, co-produced by McGraw and longtime producer Byron Gallimore, features a 13-track standard edition, and an 18-track deluxe edition. Sundown Heaven Town will be available for pre-order on iTunes and Amazon Mp3 on July 29.
Four officers and three new directors were announced for the Nashville Film Festival’s Board of Directors. The officers are President, Kelly Frey of Frost Brown Todd, LLC, has been named as President. Taryn Anderson of Flood, Bumstead, McCready & McCarthy will take the role of Vice President, while Cynthia Tyler of the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities has been named Secretary. Stephanie Mundy Self of Flood, Bumstead, McCready & McCarthy has been named Treasurer. The three new directors are Shannon Casey of Creative Artists Agency, Courtney Ross of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Stephanie Mundy Self.

Americana Music Association’s 15th annual Americanafest has added more than 70 artists to its already robust list of performers. Sturgill Simpson, Jim Lauderdale, The Haden Triplets, Banditos, The Black Lillies, Carolina Story, Truth & Salvage Co., and The Bros. Landreth are a few of the latest artists slated to perform during the music festival, awards show, and conference.
