peermusic has signed hit songwriter Michael Dulaney to an exclusive songwriter agreement, which was announced by Kathy Spanberger, President & COO, peermusic, and Michael Knox, Sr. VP, peermusic Nashville.

Dulaney has over 150 cuts, more than 25 singles, and seven No. 1 songs to his credit. His songs have been included on albums that have sold more than 50 million copies, including the 8x multi-platinum album Breathe from Faith Hill, Jason Aldean’s 2x multi-platinum My Kinda Party; Rascal Flatts’ 4x multi-platinum album Me And My Gang, and the 4x multi-platinum Kenney Chesney album When The Sun Goes Down. Dulaney also wrote on Jason Aldean’s latest album 9.

“Michael’s songs get attention. He has solidified his place in the songwriting community with seven No. 1 songs to his name and by delivering hit after hit,” said Knox. “His incredible work ethic combined with his experience writing for country music’s elite and across genres makes him a go-to in Nashville writing rooms. It’s an absolute honor to welcome Michael to the peermusic family.”

“I’m really enjoying the opportunity to work with Michael, Kathy and the entire peermusic team,” said Dulaney. “This company has a legendary history of working with songwriters and this particular staff of music publishers are remarkable in the care and attention they give their songwriters. I trust their expertise, I’m having fun working with the team, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Other recent chart highlights from peermusic Nashville include Cole Swindell’s “Love You Too Late” (co-written by Brandon Kinney), Riley Green’s “There Was This Girl” (co-written by Erik Dylan) and Jason Aldean’s “Rearview Town” (co-written by Neil Thrasher).
