Dawn Gates Upped at UMG Nashville

Dawn Gates has been promoted to Vice President, Digital Marketing for UMG Nashville. Gates will continue to report to Cindy Mabe, SVP Marketing for UMG Nashville, and will oversee all digital marketing efforts for the label group which represents artists including Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Gary Allan, George Strait, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum and Little Big Town, among others.

Gates was with Capitol Records Nashville for seven years, where she most recently held the title of Senior Director, New Media. Prior to her tenure at Capitol Nashville, Gates spent eight years working for Word Label Group, a division of Word Entertainment, LLC where she established its first New Media department.
