Mission Management Gets Gokey
Danny Gokey, who placed third on last season’s American Idol, has signed with Nashville-based RLM/Mission Management.
“As a huge fan of American Idol, I couldn’t be more excited,” remarked RLM/Mission Management’s Tracy McGlocklin. “Danny has an amazing gift and Rendy and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to help guide his career.”
“This is our first opportunity as a management team to work with the 19/RCA staff,” said Rendy Lovelady. “In our initial meetings, we have been extremely impressed with their vision and passion for Danny as an artist.”
Gokey, signed to 19 Recordings/RCA Records Nashville, is scheduled to release an album in the coming year.

I am a huge Danny Gokey fan and cannot wait to buy his cd. He is a caring person who is wonderful with his fans. I think he will have a great career in country music.
I am happy to hear that Danny will be well taken care of. I saw him in concert and he was amazing. He definately has a way of connecting with the crowd. I fell in love with his voice the first time I heard him sing. Can’t wait for his album.

I really enjoyed watching Danny Gokey on Americal Idol this past season. He has such a strong, interesting voice and genuine passion for entertaining and inspiring people through music. As a longtime country music lover, I really can’t wait to see what the future holds for Danny’s career in Nashville, starting with his release of his first single this November.
What happened to: “So Danny, what kind of album do you see yourself making?” “Well Ryan, it will definitely be R&B with some latin flavor.” Ummmm….R&B didn’t want Danny…he can’t touch Elliot Yamin…I was never a Danny fan, VERY overrated. Danny took what was offered him…a country deal, when nothin’ is country about him…country fans shouldn’t even want this. He’s not being true to himself as an artist, but true to the cha-ching…the dinero. I don’t see this working.
I’m so glad that there are people who truly believe in him and are willingto help him fulfill his dream. Danny touched my heart with his passion and dedication in serving people and God. Wish him all the best.
Danny Gokey has the most amazing voice I’ve heard in years. I’m not easily impressed by new talent, but he did not take long to win me over. I have to say I don’t own any country music today and have a vast collection, however, I will buy whatever his voice is on…be it Country, Rock or R&B. I’m so excited about his upcoming single and CD!!

I’m a country, R&B and latin music lover and there isn’t anything wrong with someone who can do all three from the heart. Waiting for new music and waring out the itunes. Hurry.
Danny and David Archuleta tie for my favorite contestants ever and are in my top ten musicians in my music collection. Interested to see how much influence nashville will have of this soulful artist.
