Kip Moore Kicks Off Bold New Journey With Latest Album ‘Solitary Tracks’

Kip Moore is releasing his sixth and most ambitious album to date, Solitary Tracks, on Feb. 28 via Virgin Music Group.

Solitary Tracks features 23 songs split over four sides, and is a testament to Moore’s free-spirited drive to pave his own path and explore new horizons. He shared the video today for the new song “Bad Spot,” from the album, a dreamy, piano-led confession that reveals a weathered soul finally growing up.

YouTube video

The album announcement arrives after months of teasing a series of new songs that provided an early glimpse at his new chapter. It kicked off with “Live Here to Work,” his first new song in nearly two years, and was followed by “Learning As I Go.” He then doubled down with the anthem “Flowers in December” paired with the slow-burning surprise second track “Wildfire.”

Co-produced by Moore with Jaren Johnston and additional production by Oscar Charles and Jay Joyce, the new album’s first half marks a deep acknowledgement of Moore’s solitary place, while its second part celebrates the start of a new phase. Together, they wrap a defiant sense of personal growth in a raw, roots-and-soul package.

“I’m never going to cheat by just trying to write what I think people want to hear, or hold onto a sound that worked for me,” states Moore. “I’m going to always be authentic with myself, with every record, and all I ever hope is that people find a little solace. This project is a journey in itself, so I hope it helps people navigate their own life. There’s no pattern you have to follow, and sometimes you gotta gamble on yourself. You gotta be bold enough to trust your gut, and willing to roll those dice if you believe in something.”

MuttNation & Tractor Supply Co. Announce Third Annual ‘Relief For Rescues’ Fundraiser

Animals at Southern California shelters impacted by the ongoing wildfires

Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company have announced their third annual “Relief for Rescues” fundraiser, which provides financial support for shelter animals impacted by disasters such as floods, fires, hurricanes and tornadoes.

From Jan. 12–22, customers can donate to the “Relief for Rescues” Fund during checkout at any Tractor Supply location, online at TractorSupply.com or via the Tractor Supply mobile app. Launched in 2023, the fund has raised more than one million dollars and already allocated over $600,000 to support shelter animals impacted by natural disasters.

The fund is actively supporting the Southern California region impacted by ongoing wildfires, and recently deployed $250,000 to provide critical assistance to 31 animal shelters and organizations across multiple states in the wake of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The money distributed helped animal rescues access more efficient emergency response and provided food, supplies, veterinary care, transport services for displaced pets and assistance with shelter repair.

“Our ‘Relief for Rescues’ Fund allows MuttNation to help shelters when they need us the most,” says Lambert. “It’s been heartbreaking to see the devastation in California unfold, and we’re grateful that our fund and the generosity of our donors has allowed us to respond quickly. 100% of your support goes directly to those impacted by disasters.”

“At Tractor Supply, we’re passionate about animals and dedicated to supporting them however we can,” adds Kimberley Gardiner, Chief Marketing Officer, Tractor Supply Company. “Natural disasters often leave more pets without homes and put extra pressure on shelters. That’s where the ‘Relief for Rescues’ Fund comes in—it allows us to quickly provide financial support and help ease that strain. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far with Miranda, MuttNation, our amazing team members and our customers. This year, we’re excited to keep that momentum going and make an even bigger impact together.”

Kameron Marlowe To Release ‘Songs For The Soul’ Project In February

Powerful vocalist and songwriter Kameron Marlowe will put the emotions of heartbreak on display with Sad Songs For The Soul, a new 10-track project releasing Feb. 21.

Produced by Ben West, Sad Songs For The Soul follows his sophomore album Keepin’ The Lights On that he released in May of 2024.

“I’ve had these songs for a while now, but I was never sure if I wanted to actually release them all. I kept coming back to the idea of doing a concept record of only sad songs but was honestly nervous that it might be too different from what fans are used to hearing from me,” Marlowe shares. “I wanted to push the boundaries a little and put out an unexpected, soulful, stripped project full of heartbreak at all stages in life. Ben West produced the project and I cannot be more thrilled on how it turned out. You can really feel the pain behind each song and I hope fans enjoy this new side. Excited to get more music out in 2025!”

Marlowe is giving fans a taste of the new LP with track “Hello Whiskey” today (Jan. 10).

“I wrote ‘Hello Whiskey’ with Kendell Marvel and Phil O’Donnell. We wanted to write a classic heartbreak song that talks about what it feels like when you’re trying your hardest to move on, but you truly cannot get over someone. The melody is a little unexpected but I think that’s what makes this song special.”

In addition to this new music, Marlowe will also join as support for Parker McCollum’s “What Kinda Man Tour 2025” which will kick off in Athens, Georgia on Jan. 23 and run through April.
