Alan Jackson’s sold-out “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale Concert” at Nissan Stadium is set to be live streamed for fans on Broadway in downtown Nashville.

Presented by Edward Jones, “Keepin’ It Country on Broadway” will air the concert, which includes a star-studded lineup of artists who will join Jackson to celebrate his career and legacy, in real time. Set to perform during the special evening are Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, Adam Wright, Big City Brian Wright, and Carlisle Wright.

Before the concert begins, live music will be provided on Broadway by James Carothers and Cory Farley, both of whom have opened for Jackson on tour and are regularly featured performers at AJ’s Good Time Bar. Jackson’s four-story bar just steps away from the “Keepin’ It Country” stage and screen on Broadway is marking a decade as the first of many artist-themed establishments in the heart of Music City.

The gates open at 4 p.m. CT for “Keepin’ It Country on Broadway,” and stage performances begin at 5 p.m. CT, with the livestream concert following shortly after 6 p.m.

Andrew Baylis

Platinum-selling producer and songwriter Andrew Baylis has signed with Prescription Songs, joining their Nashville roster through A&Rs Christian Conant and Sophia Battaglia.

Known for his work in both country and rock music, Baylis has contributed to a number of successful releases, including the RIAA Gold-certified singles “Dead Man Walking” by Jelly Roll, “Creeps” by Koe Wetzel, and “Son of the Dirty South” by Brantley Gilbert featuring Jelly Roll. His credits also include songs from Jelly Roll’s Platinum-certified album Whitsitt Chapel, such as “Kill A Man,” “Unlive,” and “Behind Bars,” along with “Back To Me” by The Rose, “Pray All The Way Home” by Austin Snell, “Can’t Take It With You” by Ole 60, “Kill Me” by Kolby Cooper, and Atlus’ current country radio single “Hold My Liquor.”

He has also worked with artists including Pecos & The Rooftops, Sleeping With Sirens, Doobie, Yung Gravy, Shaylen, Yelawolf, Lakeview, Lanie Gardner, Giovannie & The Hired Guns, Sterling Elza, Teddy Swims, Michael Whitworth, Geoff Warburton, Ashley Gorley, Riley Thomas, and members of The Red Clay Strays.

Elizabeth Lombardi & Taylor Perez

Spirit Music has added two new team members.

Elizabeth Lombardi has joined as Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs. In her new role, she will handle publishing agreements, catalog acquisitions, brand partnerships, endorsement deals, and other business matters for Spirit Music’s roster. She started her entertainment law career at BMG/BBR Music Group, later worked at Milom Crow Kelley Beckett Shehan PLC and most recently served as an Executive in Business Affairs in the Music department at CAA.

She earned her law degree from Belmont University College of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business from Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business. Lombardi also serves as Vice Chair of the Advisory Council for the Troubadour Society at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and is an adjunct professor at Belmont University.

“Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the role songwriters play in shaping our industry,” shares Lombardi.” I’m thrilled to join Spirit Music and work alongside a team that is passionate about championing creators and protecting the songs that connect with audiences around the world.”

Taylor Perez has joined as Senior Director, Digital Marketing. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Perez brings over five years of marketing experience to her new role. Before joining Spirit Music, she worked in digital marketing at Big Machine Label Group and Warner Music Group, leading audience growth, fan engagement, and release marketing campaigns for Dan + Shay, Rascal Flatts, Randy Travis, Ashley McBryde, Avery Anna, The Jack Wharff Band, and others. She earned a Master of Science in Music Industry from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from University of Cincinnati.

“I am so excited to join the team at Spirit Music because of their commitment to champion both well-established and emerging songwriters, while maintaining a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment,” says Perez. “It’s an honor to join the team and I look forward to helping create new opportunities for its songwriters, partners, and catalog.”

A new album of previously unheard songs by Waylon Jennings, Diamonds, is set for release on Nov, 13 on LP, CD, cassette and download, with the album available to stream digitally starting Dec. 11 via Son of Jessi/Thirty Tigers.

Today (June 22) Waylon’s son Shooter Jennings shares the title track from the project, “Diamonds,” featuring Glen Campbell. The new song was featured on a special CBS Sunday Morning story Sunday on both Shooter and Waylon, and features a surprise appearance by the late great Campbell, who joins Gordon Payne, Jerry Bridges, Carter Robertson, Barney Robertson, and Rance Wasson, the collective known as the Waylors, in backing Waylon on the track.

“This track eluded me,” says Shooter Jennings. “I kept finding it across three different sessions while I was going through my father‘s work. At first, I was very confused because of the sound of the guitar as to what it was. Suddenly, upon listening to the whole thing, I realized Glen Campbell had stopped by the studio and they recorded this little gem on a late December night in 1978. The remaining members of the Waylors helped put the picture together. It quickly became one of my favorite recordings that my dad ever made and I knew I had to have a whole album centered around it.”

Diamonds is the second in a series of albums featuring unknown recordings by Waylon Jennings that Shooter recently unearthed. He shared the first installment of the newly uncovered songs last year with Songbird, which was met by widespread acclaim.

“In the process of combing through and cataloging all of his recordings, I started to get a grasp on all of the music that had not been heard before, and a story started to emerge in my mind,” explains Shooter. “The way I wanted to reveal all of this music to the world was part of my job. With Songbird I knew it would be an emotional journey, hearing Waylon, in his prime, sing new songs to us was going to hit hard. A set of songs almost immediately presented itself to me as Songbird. But there was a second set forming, anchored by the mysterious song “Diamonds”. It was a higher energy album, a “younger man’s” album, if you will.

“I immediately knew which songs were attaching themselves to the second album, and they all shared stories about the rollercoaster of relationships and unrequited love,” he continues. “Among the many Jessi Colter songs I found in the batch, two stood out as part of what Diamonds was becoming, so I selected them to add to the album to weave the tale a little more colorfully. Again, the Waylors and legendary harp player Mickey Raphael helped me close the book on a few of these songs. We had a blast. Now, I’m done and Diamonds is in your hands. Pour yourself a cup of something, turn down the lights and let’s take a ride together.”
