Grand Ole Opry & Jelly Roll Partner To Raise Money For The Judge Dinkins Educational Center

The Grand Ole Opry and Jelly Roll are partnering to raise money for the Judge Dinkins Educational Center (JDEC), which provides juvenile vocational training in Davidson County for adolescents who might be at risk or engaged with the juvenile or criminal justice system. In addition to being a vocational center, JDEC offers education, housing and holistic support services to help students build sustainable futures. The shows will also benefit the Buddy DeFord Charitable Fund that was started to honor his late father.

Jelly Roll, along with Bailey Zimmerman, Graham Barham and more, will perform two shows on Sept. 22 at the Grand Ole Opry. A portion of every ticket sold at these two shows, as well as every Jelly Roll Opry performance through September 2026 will be donated.

“It’s a full-circle moment to be able to partner with Jelly Roll on this center, and the support of the Opry makes it all the more powerful,” says Judge Jim Todd, Co-Founder of the JDEC and the prosecutor in Jelly Roll’s case from when he was younger.

The 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards Reveals First Round Of Performers & Presenters

Lauren Daigle is among the first round of performers and presenters announced for the upcoming 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards, set for Oct. 7 at Bridgestone Arena.

Additional performers announced include Fred Hammond featuring The Choir Room, Gaither Vocal Band and Josiah Queen. John Crist, Sadie Robertson Huff, David & Tamela Mann and Chris Tomlin are set to present on the show, which is presented in partnership with the Cantinas Arts Foundation.

Tickets for the awards and a limited number of Music City Fan Experiences are on sale here. The 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards broadcast will air exclusively on TBN and the TBN+ app Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET and will be simulcast on SiriusXM The Message. An encore presentation will air on TBN and the TBN+ app Friday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.

Myles Morgan Signs With WME

Myles Morgan has inked with WME for worldwide representation across all areas.

Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, Morgan’s sound is a combination of truthful storytelling with Southern grit and charm. He has played live shows in bars and has made festival appearances across the Southeast, such as Flora-Bama, Iron City and Carolina Country Music Festival. Morgan has gained mass appeal with his singles “Nobody’s Fault But Yours” and “Jon Boat or a Yacht,” amassing over a million streams so far.

Ashley McBryde To Play Country Music Hall Of Fame & Museum’s ‘Nightfall At The Hall’

Ashley McBryde is set to perform at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s 13th annual “Nightfall at the Hall” concert on Oct. 6.

Presented by Maverick Nashville, Nightfall at the Hall is an after-hours celebration exclusively for the museum’s Troubadour members, a community of leaders aged 21-45 who collaborate with other like-minded professionals in supporting the community and the museum.

Prior to McBryde’s show, student artist Lily Braithwaite will perform “Story of Her Life,” a song that she wrote with guidance from museum staff during the museum’s 2025 summer songwriting camp. The 15-year-old from Brentwood, Tenn., has participated in museum programs for two years.

“Nightfall at the Hall” admission is a benefit of Troubadour membership, and young professionals can become a Troubadour member between now and Oct. 9 and purchase 12 months of Troubadour membership for the price of 11. Troubadour corporate partnerships are also available.

BMI’s Rooftop On The Row Series Hosts Vincent Mason & Max McNown

More than 500 industry professionals gathered Tuesday (Aug. 12) on the BMI rooftop to see Interscope Records/MCA Nashville’s Vincent Mason and Columbia Records’ Max McNown perform at the Rooftop On The Row series.

BMI’s Mason Hunter introduced the performers and DJ Smoke entertained the crowd before Mason kicked off the night. The Georgia native performed “Train of Thought,” “Painkiller,” “Damned If I Do,” “Wish You Well” and the viral “Hell Is A Dance Floor.”

McNown took the stage to wrap up the night performing “Forever Ain’t Long Enough” from his latest album Night Diving (The Cost of Growing Up). He surprised the crowd with special guest Avery Anna for a special rendition of “Turned Into Missing You.” He continued with “Love Me Back” and ended the night with streaming hits “Better Me For You (Brown Eyes)” and the Gold-certified single “A Lot More Free.”

The final installment of this year’s BMI Rooftop On The Row series on Sept. 9 will serve as the official kickoff to AmericanaFest and feature performances by Briscoe, The Droptines and Ken Pomeroy.

Jeb Gipson Signs With Relative Music Group & Sony Music Publishing

Relative Music Group has signed Jeb Gipson to a global publishing deal in partnership with Sony Music Publishing.

“Jeb has been grinding for years, and it’s been awesome to watch him grow into the songwriter he is today,” says Relative Music Group’s Michael Hardy. “I couldn’t be more excited to work with him and be a part of this next chapter. His work ethic and talent are undeniable, and I can’t wait to see where this ride takes him.”

A native of Clayton, Georgia, Gipson moved to Nashville in 2016 to pursue his passion after a childhood immersed in music and touring with his father’s bluegrass band. Since then, Gipson has garnered notable recognition on multiple projects. Gipson’s recent major label releases include HARDY ‘s “Buck On The Wall,” Dylan Scott’s “Easy Does It” and John Morgan’s “Carolina Blue,” which all come in addition to previous songwriting credits with Megan Moroney, Dylan Marlowe, Chris Lane and Drew Baldridge, among others. Gipson also co-penned Brandon Wisham’s “Growin’ Up” which has gained acclaim on SiriusXM The Highway on the heels of Wisham being crowned the newest Highway Find.

Gavin Adcock Hosts Album Listening Party On Old Hickory Lake

Gavin Adcock held a listening party ahead of his album release this week. Hundreds of friends and fans gathered at Two Foot Cove on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville over the weekend to celebrate the upcoming release of his sophomore record Own Worst Enemy via his own Thrivin’ Here Records LLC under exclusive license to Warner Music Nashville. Ahead of the album’s Friday (Aug. 15) release, Adcock surprised fans today (Aug. 13) with the release of a new song, “Light A Fire.”

“Over the last 4 years I’ve spent my life writing, traveling and trying to find time to breathe,” Adcock says of the release. “It doesn’t always add up on paper like it would seem, but through the happiness, hard times and self-destruction, I’ve found that the best part of my job is letting out music for my fans. I can’t thank y’all enough for sticking with me for this long. I’m the furthest thing from perfect and I don’t ever plan to be.”

Adcock is nominated for this year’s Discovery Artist of the Year at the MusicRow Awards. He is currently amidst his headlining “Need To Tour” and will join Morgan Wallen for select dates this year.

John Prine Family Reveals Schedule For Fourth Annual ‘You Got Gold’ Event

The John Prine family has revealed the schedule for the fourth and final “You Got Gold: Celebrating the Songs of John Prine” event, set to return to Nashville from Oct. 9-12.

This event will feature performances at some of the city’s most legendary venues, including the Ryman Auditorium (Oct. 10, John Prine’s birthday), The Basement East (Oct. 9), The Bluebird Cafe (Oct. 9), and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s CMA Theater (Oct. 11). The four-day gathering will also include several special events such as official pop-ups, a film screening, song circles, and more.

Proceeds from the event benefit The Hello In There Foundation and a range of community grantees the foundation supports throughout the year. The CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Bluebird Cafe, and Basement East shows have sold out. Each show will feature performances by an array of surprise artists, celebrating Prine’s career and the beloved community he built over the past 50 years.

“For the past four years, we’ve been grateful to share a journey of love, music, and memory with you at You Got Gold – celebrating the incomparable life and songs of our beloved John Prine. With lots of gratitude in our hearts, we’re announcing that this October’s gathering in Nashville will mark our final year of this very special event,” says Fiona Prine. “Witnessing John’s community of fans return year after year has been nothing short of magical. Matt Mathews Signs With WME

Comedian and singer/songwriter Matt Mathews has signed with WME for global representation.

“I’m beyond excited to be joining the team at WME,” shares Matthews. “I’ve built so much from the ground up with a small but mighty crew, and now it’s time to level up with a whole new team of people who believe in the vision just as much as I do. It’s equal parts surreal and overdue— we’re just getting started.”

The Alabama native is currently on his Live Nation promoted “Boujee On A Budget Tour,” which launched earlier last year. The tour has now expanded to 89 shows and counting with over 150,000 tickets already sold. Additionally, he is readying his debut album due next year. Mathews kicks off the second leg of his tour on Sept. 12 in Knoxville, Tennessee and will trek across the US through the end of the year. The second leg of the tour will include multiple shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and a homecoming show in Birmingham, Alabama on Dec. 29.
