Tyler Hubbard Joins Keith Urban’s ‘Speed Of Now World Tour’ This Fall

Keith Urban has added Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard to his “The Speed Of Now World Tour” for the trek’s fall dates.

Urban will debut the new lineup, which also includes Ingrid Andress, on Sept. 3rd at The Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. The tour brought Urban back to the road late last month after nearly four years, and will run through November with a Nashville date at Bridgestone on Oct. 7. “I’m psyched that my brutha Tyler Hubbard is gonna come out and join Ingrid and me on the fall leg of my ‘Speed Of Now World Tour,’” Urban shares. “It’s like some Ocean’s 11 shit, and it’s gonna be a BLAST!”

Hubbard will treat fans to songs from his upcoming solo album on the dates. The project’s first single, “5 Foot 9,” has already garnered over 40 million global streams and is moving up the charts, while the second track from the album, “35’s,” has over a million global streams. Hubbard’s next song, “Way Home,” is set to be released on Friday (July 15).

“I’ve been writing and recording a lot of new music for my first solo album, songs that are made to be played live,” says Hubbard. “I am so excited to be joining Keith on his fall tour and can’t wait to play them for the first time for fans across the country.”

Brandi Carlile’s Female-Fronted Destination Concert To Return For Fourth Year

Brandi Carlile has announced the return of her destination concert vacation Girls Just Wanna Weekend, produced by Cloud 9 Adventures in partnership with The Bowery Presents.

Taking over the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico from Jan. 9 – 13, 2023, the festival will once again feature an all female-fronted lineup. In addition to multiple sets from Carlile, the weekend will include performances from Maren Morris, Sara Bareilles, Wynonna, Lucius, Yola, Allison Russell, Joy Oladokun, Ruby Amanfu, Natalie Hemby, Brandy Clark and Brittney Spencer.

Guests will have the choice of staying at two all-inclusive resorts for Girls Just Wanna Weekend: Hard Rock Hotel or Barceló Maya Riviera Resort. Aaron Lewis To Headline Wesley Mortgage Freedom Friday Tribute Concert At Grand Prix

For the second consecutive year, the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix will host the Freedom Friday Tribute Concert presented by Wesley Mortgage on Aug. 5. This year’s show will be headlined by multi-Platinum entertainer Aaron Lewis, along with performances from Deana CarterAbby Anderson and Jackson Dean at the Nissan Stadium campus.

Lewis’ latest album Frayed At Both Ends (The Valory Music Co.) was the No. 1 selling country album upon its release earlier this year. The project featured the hit lead single, “Am I The Only One,” which debuted atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, marking Lewis’ highest debut as a solo country artist.

“The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix is quickly becoming an established Nashville tradition,” says Steve Medes, President of Wesley Mortgage. “We appreciate the opportunity to attach our company to such a great event. We look forward to celebrating Freedom Friday and a great weekend of racing.”

The concert is included for Friday individual and three-day ticket holders and begins at 7 p.m. CT at the ZYN Main Stage located in the Fan Zone. In addition to the musical acts, there will be several tributes to military and first responders.

In addition to the Freedom Friday Tribute Concert, superstar Tim McGraw will perform Saturday, Aug. 6, and a live Grand Ole Prix show will be held Sunday, Aug. 7, with headliners Brantley Gilbert and Carly Pearce alongside Midland and Callista Clark.

Friday single-day tickets begin as low as $39 for general admission and $49 for reserved grandstand. Both provide admission to the on-track activity, as well as the concert.

Mercury Nashville Ups Sally Angeli, Adds Greg Raneiri

Mercury Nashville has added Greg Raneiri as its Director of Regional Promotion West as Sally Angeli shifts to her new role as Director of Regional Promotion Midwest. These new roles will go into effect on Monday, July 18.

Angeli has several years of regional promotion success in both the northeast and, for the past five years, on the west coast.

Goldenvoice’s Palomino Festival at Brookeside at the Rose Bowl included a boundary-pushing lineup featuring country, folk, pop, bluegrass, and more on Saturday (July 9) in Pasadena.

Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson & Family, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Zach Bryan and more gave southern California country fans a full day of non-stop performances at the festival. The day kicked off with Logan Ledger and ended under the stars with Kacey Musgraves featuring performances from Morgan Wade, Paul Cauthen, Orville Peck, Old Crow Medicine Show, Valerie June and more throughout.

In the middle of Kacey Musgraves’ set, she brought out Willie Nelson for a special performance of his song “On the Road Again,” thrilling the crowd, who clapped and sang along to the iconic hit. Musgraves’ grandfather was in the audience from Texas and she noted that it was a full-circle moment to have him there alongside her “other grandfather,” Nelson.

The festival also featured shopping at artist Nikki Lane’s Stagespot Marketplace, and delicacies from some of California’s top restaurants, including Maple Block Meat Co., Da Big Show BBQ, and Dave’s Hot Chicken.

Peermusic Nashville Signs Kaylin Roberson

Peermusic Nashville has signed singer-songwriter Kaylin Roberson to an exclusive worldwide publishing deal. The agreement includes select catalog and future works.

Roberson moved to Nashville at 19 and has since landed 20 cuts with independent artists and celebrated more than 5 million streams of her songs. As an artist, she has released a handful of singles and opened for artists such as Chris Janson, Jon Pardi and RaeLynn. Roberson will be releasing her new single “Placeholder” on August 12.

Morgan Wallen reclaims the No. 1 spot on both the top country songs and albums charts this week.

Wallen’s “You Proof” adds 10 million streams this week to place it at No. 1, while “Wasted On You” adds 7.9 million and hits No. 5. On the album’s side, his record-breaking Dangerous: The Double Album racks up 50K in total consumption (1.1K album only, 62 million song streams), and his 2016 project If I Know Me sees 18K in total consumption, according to Luminate data.

In its second week since its release, Luke CombsGrowin’ Up falls to No. 2 with 30K in total consumption. Zach Bryan‘s American Heartbreak takes No. 3 with 26K, and Elvis Presley‘s Elvis 30 No. 1 Hits jumps to No. 4 with 18K.

Bryan rises back into the No. 2 position on the top country songs chart with his monster hit “Something In The Orange” seeing 9.8 million streams this week. Combs’ “The Kind Of Love We Make” falls to No. 3 with 9.7 million streams, and Bailey Zimmerman‘s breakthrough single, “Fall In Love,” fills out the top five at No. 4, earning 7.9 million streams.

Tanya Tucker Joins Born & Raised Music Festival Lineup

Tanya Tucker has joined the lineup for the Born & Raised Music Festival, set for Sept. 16-18. Held at the Pryor Creek Music Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma, the event celebrates outlaw, Texas and red dirt country.

Tucker will perform on Saturday along with Brothers Osborne, Margo Price, Flatland Cavalry, headliner Cody Jinks and many more. The second annual event will also feature headliners Lynyrd Skynyrd and Zach Bryan, as well as Randy Rogers Band, Josh Abbott Band, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Wade Bowen, American Aquarium and more, with over 35 acts slated to perform throughout the weekend.

Priscilla Block Extends ‘Welcome To The Block Party Tour’ Into The Fall

Priscilla Block is extending her “Welcome to the Block Party Tour” into fall with a string of new dates beginning Oct. 13.

The fall run will include shows in Chicago, Knoxville, Des Moines, Charleston, and will feature a Music City show at the Nashville Palace on Nov. 3. This second run of dates follows Block’s headlining spring tour, where she sold out 11 of 14 shows. Pre-sale for the newly added dates will begin tomorrow (July 12), with general on-sale beginning on Friday (July 15).

“I am so excited to announce the second leg of my ‘Welcome to the Block Party Tour!'” says Block. “As a little girl, I always dreamed of writing my own songs and singing them to crowds of people. Reba Announces Fall Arena Tour

Reba McEntire is heading out on a new fall arena tour, “Reba Live In Concert,” set to kick off Oct. 13 in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The 17-city trek will feature special guest Terri Clark, and will visit St. Louis, Austin, Indianapolis, Ft. Worth, Savannah and more, with a Nashville date at Bridgestone Arena set for Oct. 21.

“I can’t wait to see everyone out on the road again this fall,” McEntire shares. “We had so much fun in the spring and I’m ready to get back out there with my buddy Terri Clark!”

Tickets for “Reba Live In Concert” go on sale this Friday (July 15), and fans can access a special presale beginning tomorrow (July 12) by signing up for McEntire’s email list. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets from Tuesday-Thursday through the Citi Entertainment program.

McEntire has also been busy with her acting career, recently announcing The Hammer, a Lifetime movie she is appearing in and executive producing. She is also set to join the ABC series Big Sky as a regular for its upcoming third season.
