We The Kingdom Plots Cross-Country Trek For This Fall

Two-time Grammy-nominated group We The Kingdom will hit the road on their headlining “We The Kingdom Live with Cory Asbury” tour this fall.

The 22-date trek is set to kick off on Sept. 29, stopping in cities including LA, Dallas, Atlanta, and more through November. The group will make a stop at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on Nov. 5. Tickets for the Nashville show are already on sale. Remaining dates will go on sale this Friday (June 24).

Comprised of brothers Ed Cash and Scott Cash, Ed’s children Franni Rae Cash Cain and Martin Cash, and close family friend Andrew Bergthold, We The Kingdom made their debut in 2018. Since then, they have earned their first RIAA Gold single for “Holy Water,” the group’s first No. 1 hit.

The band recently released “Miracle Power,” the first track from their sophomore studio album, which marked the band’s biggest street week streaming debut for a single to date. The track will go for adds on radio this Friday.

We The Kingdom is currently opening for Crowder on his “My People Tour.” Additionally, they’ll perform at fairs and festivals across the country this summer.

Brooks & Dunn’s ‘Reboot 2022 Tour’ Rolls Through Nashville

Brooks & Dunn brought their boot-scootin’ “Reboot 2022 Tour” to a sold-out crowd at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Saturday night (June 18).

The packed show marked the first time the duo has played the arena since the final show of their “The Last Rodeo Tour” in 2010.

Darius Rucker and Tyler Braden kicked off the evening before the legendary duo took the Music City stage to deafening applause.

The country icons ran through a stack of hits throughout the night, including “Brand New Man,” “Believe,” and many more.

Fans received a fun surprise during the show when Brooks & Dunn spontaneously invited Miranda Lambert to the stage from the audience, and she subsequently joined them on “Cowgirls Don’t Cry” and “Neon Moon,” to the roaring crowd’s delight.

The “Reboot 2022 Tour” continues this weekend in South Charleston, West Virginia (June 23); Toledo, Ohio (June 24); and Detroit Beach, Michigan (June 25), with the duo hitting some cities and venues for the first time in over a decade, and some in over 20 years.

Brooks & Dunn has curated a stacked lineup across the run of dates with openers including Gabby Barrett, Jordan Davis, Riley Green, Walker Hayes, Jon Pardi, Scotty McCreery and more.

Jason Isbell Slates Eight-Night Ryman Residency For October

Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit will play an eight-night residency at the Ryman Auditorium in October as part of the Ryman’s 130th anniversary celebration.

The shows mark the group’s sixth residency at the Mother Church and will take place on Oct. 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22 and 23. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 24 at 10 a.m. CT at ryman.com.

The Residency has become a tradition for Isbell who has welcomed a variety of guests in previous years, including Nashville-based bands such as Bully and Diarrhea Planet, his wife Amanda Shires, Brittney Spencer, Mickey Guyton, Amythyst Kiah, Shemekia Copeland, Allison Russell, Joy Oladokun, and more.

This year’s eight-night stand will feature guests Peter One, Grace Group Gospel Choir, Vagabon, Kevin Kaarl, Leyla McCalla, Shires, Hermanos Gutierrez, and Cimafunk. 

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss Add Stops To Their ‘Raise The Roof Tour’

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are extending their U.S. “Raising The Roof Tour” this year with newly added dates through mid-September.

Venues added to the cross-country trek include Franklin, Tennessee’s FirstBank Amphitheater, Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion, Mashantucket’s Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino, and New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

Tickets for the new dates will go on sale beginning Friday (June 24), with pre-sales starting tomorrow (June 22). A rescheduled performance at Atlanta’s Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park has also been set for September, with links and more information available here.

Beginning in August, the second leg of the “Raising The Roof Tour” also includes stops at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Austin’s Moody Amphitheater and more.

The two are currently nominated for Duo/Group of The Year at the 2022 Americana Honors & Awards, in addition to Album of The Year for Raise The Roof, which was produced by T Bone Burnett and spent over 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Americana chart.

Amanda Shires Shares ‘Take It Like A Man’ From Upcoming New Album

Amanda Shires has shared her new single “Take It Like A Man,” which is the title track from her forthcoming new album out July 29 on ATO Records.

Co-written by Shires and producer Lawrence Rothman, “Take It Like A Man” features Jason Isbell on guitar. The track’s music video, filmed by Weston Heflin, was recorded at Columbia Records studio in Nashville, whose lauded history includes hosting such artists as Bob Dylan, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Buddy Holly and many more.

The upcoming album is a confessional featuring 10 tracks written and recorded during lockdown. Maren Morris and Brittney Spencer offer up guest vocals on the set of candid tunes written by Shires about her life as a woman, a wife (to her husband Jason Isbell) and a mother during a tumultuous time.

Shires will kick off an extensive fall tour on Sept. 6 in Asheville, North Carolina. Running through November, she will make stops in Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Brooklyn, Dallas and more. Public on-sale for tickets will begin Friday, June 24, with local pre-sales on June 23. All tickets can be purchased at amandashiresmusic.com.

On June 23, she’ll perform selections from Take It Like A Man at an invitation-only listening event at Desert 5 Spot in Los Angeles presented by Foxes Magazine. Additionally, on July 23 she’ll perform with The Highwomen at Wrigley Field in Chicago opening for Chris Stapleton, followed by a special sold-out solo show at Nashville’s Blue Room on July 28.

Luke Bryan Adds Six Shows To Las Vegas Resorts World Run

Luke Bryan has added six additional dates in November and December to his headlining “Luke Bryan: Vegas” shows at Resorts World Theatre.

The new shows, slated for Nov. 30 and Dec. 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10, will include performances coinciding with the National Finals Rodeo. Tickets and a limited number of premium VIP packages for the new show dates are on sale now at AXS.com and rwlasvegas.com/entertainment.

“Luke Bryan: Vegas” debuted this past February with a high-energy opening run. The show features only-in-Las Vegas production elements, including a shifting stage and a catwalk that descends from the ceiling and elevates Bryan to eye-level with the mezzanine seats.

Brothers Osborne, Darius Rucker, More To ‘Party For A Cause’ This August

The Academy of Country Music has unveiled the lineup for its annual ACM Party for a Cause event, benefiting ACM Lifting Lives. Returning to Nashville for the second consecutive year, the evening will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at Ascend Amphitheater and will precede the 15th Annual ACM Honors ceremony, which will be held Aug. 24 at the historic Ryman Auditorium.

ACM Party for a Cause will feature performances from reigning ACM Duo of the Year Brothers Osborne, as well as Blanco Brown, Travis Denning, Sara Evans, Caylee Hammack, and Darius Rucker. Details regarding the event, including additional performers, host details and general event information, will be announced in the coming weeks.

“We’re so excited to be back in Music City for our second year of Party for a Cause at Ascend Amphitheater. Just like last year, we plan to bring the party to Nashville during a great night of music all for a good cause,” shares Lyndsay Cruz, ACM Lifting Lives Executive Director. “We’re so grateful to the artists who participate in this show, giving back to the country music community, and giving fans the opportunity to experience a show they can’t see anywhere else.”

Cale Dodds Signs With Spirit Music Nashville/Fluid Music Revolution

Cale Dodds has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Spirit Music Nashville/Fluid Music Revolution. The deal encompasses an administration deal for his catalog, as well as a go forward publishing deal with Spirit Music Nashville/Fluid Music Revolution.

A Georgia native, Dodds moved to Nashville in 2011 and immediately hit the road, touring with artists such as Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Billy Currington, and Chase Rice. Before signing his first major label deal with Warner Music Nashville, he independently racked up more than 30 million streams.

After making a splash in the Nashville songwriting community with the single, “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” by A Thousand Horses, Dodds penned his first, two-week No. 1 with “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen” for Chase Rice featuring Florida Georgia Line.

Dodds, who has been writing songs since the age of 12,  has also had a hand in writing songs for film and TV, as well as writing for other artists such as Cassadee Pope, Filmore, Lit and many more.
