Songwriter and producer Austin Bianco has signed a co-publishing deal with Concord Music Publishing.

A Cleveland native, Bianco discovered his musical talent early. After first learning piano through the Suzuki method, he picked up other instruments including guitar, which he played in both punk bands and a jazz trio in high school. After attending Belmont University where he majored in songwriting and studied music production, Bianco signed his first publishing deal. He quickly started writing songs and producing in various genres including pop, hip-hop, country, and EDM, as well as writing music for film and TV.

Bianco has secured synch placement with credits including Grey’s Anatomy, American Horror Stories, All American, The Bold Type, Netflix’s Elite, HBO’s The New Pope, and more as well as placements in ads for L’Oréal, Ray-Ban, Xbox, and Google. He’s collaborated with Hayley Warner, Sierra Ferrell, Grey Zeigler, Sam Tinnesz, Breland, Fraser Churchill, Jeff Garrison, and many more, and has also had cuts by Madison Mars, Carda, Alexa Cappelli, Hannah Trager, and more.

“Austin fills a variety of roles in the writer room with such excellence and creativity,” says Melissa Spillman, VP A&R at Concord Music Publishing in Nashville. “He’s quickly becoming a favorite among our roster and in Nashville writing circles. We’re excited to add him to the Concord family!”

Disney will unveil its new EP, Main Street Country, on April 3 via Walt Disney Records.

Serving as the latest project in the Mickey & Friends music series will feature Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown, Restless Road, Dasha, Maddie & Tae and BRELAND singing Disney classics.

Kane and Katelyn Brown will feature on “Beauty and the Beast” from Beauty and the Beast.

“Our whole family is captivated by the magic of Disney and we go every year for our daughter Kingsley’s birthday,” shares Kane Brown.

“It truly is a dream come true for Kane and I to sing ‘Beauty & The Beast’ together and to be part of such an amazing legacy,” shares Katelyn Brown.

Restless Road will sing “The Climb” from Hannah Montana: The Movie.

Dasha will share “She’s So Gone” from the 2011 Disney Channel original movie Lemonade Mouth.

“I think ‘She’s So Gone’ is one of the most iconic songs to come out of Disney Channel,” declares Dasha. “I remember watching Lemonade Mouth for the first time and the whole movie had me plotting how I was going to reinvent myself before school the next day. This track really captures that moment when women find themselves and boldly show the world who they are. I’m so excited to share this with a new generation and remind them that they can reinvent themselves and be exactly who they want to be.”

Maddie & Tae will feature on “You’ll Be in My Heart” from Tarzan. The track will serve as one of the duo’s final releases before they split to pursue separate ventures later this year.

“Getting to sing one of our favorite Disney songs feels like coming full circle for us,” says Maddie Font and Tae Kerr. “We grew up on these soundtracks, so to be able to contribute to Disney’s legacy is surreal. And knowing this is one of our final releases together as Maddie & Tae makes it even more meaningful. It feels like we’re honoring the little girls we were, and the magical journey we’ve been on together.”

BRELAND will share “Go the Distance” from Hercules.

“I grew up a bona fide Disney kid, and as the child of two gospel singers, the Hercules soundtrack always really spoke to me,” shares BRELAND. “Getting to create some of that same Disney magic that shaped my childhood while recording ‘Go the Distance’ with a live string section is easily one of the most special things I’ve done as an artist.”

Community leaders Hal Cato and Jerry Williams have joined the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Board of Officers and Trustees.

Cato currently serves as CEO of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and has served for the past decade on the museum’s education council, helping steer the institution’s many community and school outreach initiatives. He is also past CEO of Thistle Farms and the Oasis Center and helped found the Nashville Youth Alliance, Alignment Nashville and more. He has received the Nelson Andrews Distinguished Service Award by the Public Education Foundation, the Community Champion award by the Human Rights Campaign, and been named Nashvillian of the Year by the Nashville Scene.

Williams is currently president of the Enchiridion Foundation and is a member of the museum’s Circle Guard who has advocated for the museum and its educational mission across all sectors of the Nashville community for more than three decades. Formerly, she served as Executive Director of Leadership Nashville for 25 years, and also held leadership roles as president of the Junior League of Nashville, Friends of Children’s Hospital and Travellers Rest Historic House Museum. She serves on the board of Cheekwood Estate & Gardens as well as the advisory boards of the Nashville Public Library Foundation, Travellers Rest and Montgomery Bell Academy.

Additionally, Jody Williams was reelected as board chair for a third consecutive term. J. William Denny was named trustee emeritus, recognizing his 61 years of service as a board officer and trustee.

Executive officers elected to new roles include Mary Ann McCready as treasurer and Jim Seabury as a first-time trustee. Reelected executive officers include Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill as president, Al Giombetti as executive vice president, David Ross as secretary, Rod Essig as trustee, and Keel Hunt as trustee. Giombetti and McCready were also reelected as trustees, which serve three-year terms. Other returning trustees include Mark Bloom, David Conrad, Ken Levitan, Ross and Jody Williams.

All current board officers were reelected as well for one-year terms, including Earl Bentz, Sara Finley, Becky Gardenhire, Rusty Gaston, Lon Helton, Clint Higham, Cindy Mabe, Bill Simmons, Clarence Spalding, Chris Stewart, Troy Tomlinson, Jay Turner, Marcus Whitney and Tim Wipperman.

Chase Wright offers up his most vulnerable chapter yet with the release of his new album, Chasing Shadows, on May 8.
