Elyse McKenna Joins Ticketing Platform Applauze

Elyse McKenna is taking on a new role leading business development initiatives for Applauze, a direct-to-fan ticketing platform serving the artist and event communities. She will focus on partnership opportunities, brand expansion, and marketing strategies for Applauze clients and partners. McKenna’s 12 years of experience in ticketing includes time as an agent, as well as business development catalyst at both Crowdsurge and Songkick. She has worked on initiatives for Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Garth Brooks and many more.

McKenna joins the business development team alongside New York executive David McKay. Applauze is also adding account managers to the Nashville office.

NMPA and Spotify have reached an agreement allowing independent and major publishers to claim and receive royalties for certain compositions used on Spotify in the United States where ownership information was previously unknown.
Franklin, Tennessee-based Provident Music Group has hired Brian Dishon as Vice President of Marketing and Jeff Cruz as Vice President of Promotions for Provident Label Group. Dishon and Cruz will oversee rosters on the Essential Records, Reunion Records and Beach Street Records imprints. Additionally, Provident has appointed Jimmy Wheeler to Vice President of Sales and Distribution.


The full schedule has been announced for the fourth annual ACM Party For A Cause, which will take place Friday, April 1 through Sunday, April 3 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, and Kenny Chesney are slated to headline the three-day festival, which will be hosted by Katie Cook (Friday), Shawn Parr & Storme Warren (Saturday), and Blair Garner (Sunday).
