Stella Lefty Notches First No. 1 At Country Radio

Stella Lefty has earned her first No. 1 at country radio with “Boston,” topping the Country Aircheck/Mediabase Airplay chart and Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Reaching the peak of the Country Airplay chart just 22 weeks after impacting radio, “Boston” is the fastest chart debut by a solo female artist to ascend to No. 1 in more than 20 years, since Gretchen Wilson’s “Redneck Woman” in 2004 on Billboard and Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take the Wheel” in 2006 on Mediabase. The track also marks the third-fastest debut single by a solo female country artist to land at No. 1 in the Mediabase era, and is the fifth fastest by any solo debut country artist to hit No. 1 in the Mediabase era. The milestone marks the first country radio No. 1 released by Atlantic Outpost.

The track has amassed more than 486 million streams worldwide and earned nominations for Best Country and Song of Summer at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.

Earlier this month, Lefty made her Grand Ole Opry debut. She is set to take the stage at Bourbon & Beyond next week with additional upcoming dates at Austin City Limits and Australia’s Strummingbird Festival. She will embark on her headlining “Long Way Home Tour” in November.
