Ella Langley, Tucker Wetmore, Stella Lefty, More Among VMA Nominees

MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) have unveiled this year’s awards nominees. The show will air live from Los Angeles on Sept. 27.

The nominees for the Best Country category include Ella Langley with “Choosin’ Texas,” Kacey Musgraves with “Dry Spell,” Lainey Wilson with “Somewhere Over Laredo,” Luke Combs with “Back in the Saddle,” Shaboozey with “Cowgirl,” Stella Lefty with “Boston” and Tucker Wetmore with “Brunette.”

Additionally, Wallen is nominated for Artist of the Year and Lefty earned a nod for Best New Artist. Langley earned a nomination for Song of the Year with “Choosin’ Texas.” Shaboozey’s “Cowgirl” earned a nod for Best Cinematography.

Madonna leads this year’s nominees with eleven nods. Behind her, Taylor Swift earned nine nominations, and Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter each earned seven.
