Carrie Underwood’s ‘My Gift’ Tops Country, Christian, Holiday Charts
Carrie Underwood has received an early Christmas present this year as her first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, debuted at the top of the Billboard Country, Christian and Holiday charts this week.
My Gift marks the eighth album Underwood has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country chart. The album also debuted atop the UK country chart (her fifth No. 1 on the chart) and No. 1 on the Canadian country chart as well.
Combining traditional favorites with new originals penned by Underwood and frequent collaborators Brett James and her Cry Pretty co-producer, David Garcia, the project also includes an appearance by Underwood’s five-year-old son, Isaiah Fisher, on “Little Drummer Boy,” and a collaboration with John Legend, on the original track, “Hallelujah.”
She’ll celebrate the album release with an all-new holiday special available exclusively on HBO Max. Underwood performs with a live orchestra and choir during the special, which will premiere this holiday season.
