Randy Rogers Band Celebrates 20th Anniversary With RIAA Certification
The Randy Rogers Band kicked off its 20th year together by celebrating an RIAA certification, with their Gold-certified single “Kiss Me In the Dark,” which released in 2006.
The band stopped by the RIAA Headquarters on Thursday (Feb. 27) prior to their show at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., to visit with the staff, and were surprised with a plaque commemorating the Gold certification by RIAA Chairman & CEO Mitch Glazier. They followed Thursday’s sold-out concert with a show at New York’s Terminal 5 on Friday (Feb. 28). Both shows celebrated Texas’ Independence Day and featured Josh Abbott Band and Pat Green.
“Gold! Here’s to more kisses in the dark,” said Randy Rogers.
“Congratulations to the Randy Rogers Band!” adds Glazier. “We are thrilled to welcome the group into the prestigious RIAA Gold certified club!”
The Randy Rogers Band will be on the road throughout the Spring with shows in Massachusetts, Louisiana, and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on April 3, followed by a run on the West Coast the second week in April.
