Hot Country Knights Share Track Listing For Debut

March 4, 2020/by Lorie Hollabaugh

The Hot Country Knights have revealed some additional details about their debut album The K Is Silent, due out on May 1. Produced by Dierks Bentley, who also serves as co-writer on more than half of the 10 tracks, the project is available for pre-order now at all digital retailers.

“We were out on the road singing a lot of other people’s hits, and we called them Greatest Hits because by us singing them, it actually made them great,” Doug Douglason explains. “But this is a step beyond our Greatest Hits. This is all original material, and it’s the best stuff to come out of Nashville from a man band in several decades.”

The K Is Silent features cuts like “Then It Rained,” “Mull It Over,” “Wrangler Danger,” (a feel-good tribute to honky tonk Heather Locklears,) “The USA Begins With Us,” and “You Make It Hard,” featuring Terri Clark, which best represents the band’s High-T philosophy. Among the co-writers on the project are Jim Beavers, Jon Randall, and Chase McGill.

The Knights will embark on the 2020 One Knight Stand Tour when it launches April 7 in San Diego and makes stops at venues like Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theater, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and a show at the Talladega Superspeedway.

The K Is Silent Track List:
1. “Hot Country Knights” – Brett Beavers, Jim Beavers, Cassady Feasby, Ben Helson, Dan Hochhalter, Chase McGill, Steve Misamore, Jon Nite, Jon Randall, Tim Sergent, Brett Tyler and Dierks Bentley
