Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes Added To YouTube’s Cash Fest

November 6, 2019/by Jessica Nicholson

Morgan Wallen, Kari Jobe & Cody Carnes, Brandon Lancaster of LANCO, The Lone Bellow, HARDY and Kassi Ashton have been added to YouTube’s upcoming Cash Fest event, slated for Sunday, Nov. 10 at War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, beginning at 8 p.m. CT.

They join previously announced artists Little Big Town, Matt Shultz of Cage The Elephant, Perry & Etty Farrell, Elle King, Midland, Judah & The Lion, Grace Potter, Wilder Wood, John Oates, Cam, Drew & Ellie Holcomb, Devin Dawson, and Lucie Silvas. Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters is no longer slated to appear.

The concert celebrates the Nov. 11 premiere of the YouTube Originals documentary The Gift: The Journey of Johnny Cash, and attendees will also get a sneak peek at the documentary, with clips showing throughout the evening. The lineup of artists will perform their favorite Johnny Cash songs.

The Gift: The Journey of Johnny Cash was created with full cooperation of the Cash estate. Centering on Cash’s remarkable Folsom Prison recording and featuring interviews with family members and Cash’s musical collaborators, the 90-minute documentary from Thom Zimny explores Cash’s artistic victories, personal tragedies and struggle with addiction, as well as his spiritual side.

Proceeds from the event’s ticket sales will benefit MusiCares. To purchase tickets to Cash Fest, please visit http://bit.ly/cashfest.
