Songwriters Night At Green’s Grocery To Celebrate Historic Nashville Inc.’s 50th Birthday

In celebration of its 50th Anniversary, Historic Nashville Inc., the city’s nonprofit preservation advocacy group, will host A Night of Songwriters at legendary Green’s Grocery in Leiper’s Fork on Saturday, March 10. Trey Bruce, Matraca Berg, Chuck Jones, and Holly Williams will perform at the special event.

“Historic Nashville exists to help keep Nashville unique, and there is nothing that says ‘Nashville’ more than our music,” said Jenn Harrman, HNI president. “All proceeds for this event will support our advocacy outreach and programs aimed at preserving and promoting Nashville’s historic places.”

Tickets are $100 and include admission along with a barbecue dinner provided by Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant and beer from Yazoo Brewing, and can purchased here.

Historic Nashville, Inc. was created to promote and preserve the historic places that make Nashville unique. Over the years, HNI has advocated for the preservation of such historic places as the Ryman Auditorium, Union Station, the Hermitage Hotel, 2nd Avenue & Lower Broadway, Music Row, Fort Negley, neighborhood historic districts and many individual properties.
