Artist showcase slots for 2016 AmericanaFest are now open for submissions.
Anyone can send an application via a digital submission. Submissions can be made for a $25 fee. Meanwhile, Americana Music Association artist/band members can submit for free by printing a submission application and mailing it to the Americana Music Association office at PO Box 628, Franklin, TN 37065.
The AMA member submitting must be a member of the band and not a representative. Also, AMA members can send their submissions via digital submission if they wish, but the $25 application fee for digital submission still applies.
All applicants will be notified by July 1 as to whether they have been selected to showcase at the 2016 AmericanaFest. Selected artists will showcase Tuesday, Sept. 20, through Saturday, Sept. 25, at various venues throughout Nashville.
This year, AmericanaFest’s host hotel will be the Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel. Shuttle buses depart the hotel entrance each evening on a continuous route to AmericanaFest showcase venues. Book a room at the Sheraton during AmericanaFest here.
