ACM Announces Voting Timeline For Academy of Country Music Awards

The Academy of Country Music announced today (Oct. 6) the ballot timeline for professional membership voting for the 51st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, to be broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in April 2016.

New membership applications and existing membership renewals must be completed by 3 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. CT on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 for members to be eligible to vote during the 2016 Awards cycle.

The ballot timeline for professional members is as follows:
Nomination Round Ballot Opens – Wednesday, December 2, 2015
Nomination Round Ballot Closes – Wednesday, December 9, 2015
Second Round Ballot Opens – Monday, January 11, 2016
Second Round Ballot Closes – Tuesday, January 19, 2016
Final Round Ballot Opens – Monday, February 29, 2016
Final Round Ballot Closes – Monday, March 7, 2016
