Metts Exits Starstruck
Due to restructuring at Starstruck Entertainment, Jimmy Metts‘ position as General Manager of the Starstruck Writers Group has been eliminated.
Metts’ previous stops have included Famous Music, Curb Music, Malaco Music, Stroudavarious Records, and Cauley Music Publishing.

Olson Launches Master Craft Management
Pete Olson has launched new management company, Master Craft Management. The company’s first artist is Clark Manson. Olson previously headed artist management company Pop Up Music with Liz O’Sullivan, before Pop Up Music was purchased by ole Music.

Carrie Underwood Promotes New Single, Album on ‘The Bobby Bones Show’
19 Recordings/Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood made an appearance on The Bobby Bones Show to promote her newly released “Smoke Break,” the first single from her forthcoming album Storyteller due out Oct. 23.
Underwood also sent special cupcakes to multiple music industry locations today. Encouraging everyone to take a break and enjoy, she enlisted Ivey Childers and her Ivey Cake truck to deliver four special flavors of the sweet treats to such locations as NASH Campus.
