George Strait To Hit Field With Dallas Cowboys Sunday

George Strait will take the field with the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night (Sept. 8) when he serves as an honorary captain for the coin toss prior to their matchup against the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium. Strait has a lot of history with the stadium as both a fan and the first artist to hold a concert in the venue back in 2009.
Following Sunday’s game, Strait will hold a special press conference Monday from the stadium announcing information about his 2014 The Cowboy Rides Away Tour. The conference will be streamed live on GeorgeStrait.com at 11 am CT.
Though in the midst of his final tour, Strait recently revealed during a celebration in his honor at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Center that he will record five more albums for his record label.
