The inaugural award is a component of the newly-established CCMA Discovery Program, a program designed to support Canadian artists pursuing a Country career.
On Friday (Sept. 6), the CCMA Industry Lunch & Gala was also held at the Shaw Conference Center where top industry professionals were honored in 14 categories.
