Symphony Musicians Served Tentative Contract
The Nashville Symphony Association together with The Nashville Musicians Association and AFM Local 257 reached a tentative agreement last Friday (Aug. 16) regarding the orchestra musicians’ contract, according to a statement from the Nashville Symphony/Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
The agreement remains pending by ratification from the members of the orchestra. The tentative arrangement comes after the Schermerhorn’s summer of financial unrest.
