BMLG Artists to Represent at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

For the second consecutive year, Big Machine Label Group artists will perform at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for annual NASCAR Sprint Cup series Brickyard race.

The Sun., July 29 event, officially billed as “Crown Royal Presents the Curtiss Shaver 400 at the Brickyard powered by BigMachineRecords.com,” will feature The Band Perry giving a pre-race mini concert prior to the 1 p.m. start of the race.

Other stars performing between 8:30-11 a.m. on Race Morning at IMS include Justin Moore, Sunny Sweeney, Greg Bates and The Mavericks, whose lead singer Raul Malo will sing the national anthem. These performances will take place on the infield.

Bates will be featured, along with other BMLG artists, on racer David Gilliland’s No. 38 car to promote his new EP. Bates’ single “Did It For The Girl” is currently available for free download through iTunes.

Tickets for the 2012 Kroger Super Weekend are available at www.imstix.com. Four-day passes are $75. Admission for individual days is also available.
