“Train Wreck” is the second single from Scott’s forthcoming U.S. debut, due out in spring 2012 through Big Ride Records. The Canadian-born artist has been recording the album in Nashville with engineer/producer David Kalmusky. In addition to the Country radio single version, a dance remix of “Train Wreck” will also be available for purchase at iTunes on Jan. 24.
“Train Wreck grabbed me right out of the gate,” says Scott. “The groove and down-home Country chorus had me dancing around my condo! It brings such a fun tongue-in-cheek outlook on what it’s like to fall for the wrong person, but you just can’t seem to get enough.”
Nashville songwriting vets Marcus Hummon, Jedd Hughes and Sarah Buxton penned the rhythm-heavy number, with superstar Vince Gill contributing backing vocals. The song’s forthcoming video was filmed with director Roman White. Check out Scott’s website for updates, as well as her web-based cooking series “Make It Or Bake It.”
