Jimmy Rector Joins Show Dog-Universal

Promotion vet Jimmy Rector has joined forces with Show Dog-Universal as VP/Strategic Planning & Promotion, and is on the job now. The move puts him back under the same roof as Rick Moxley and Mark Wright with whom he worked at Sony Music Nashville in his previous role as Columbia Records VP Promotion. Rector exited the label group in August 2011.

“When I got the chance to reunite with both Rick Moxley and Mark Wright, it was hard to say no,” says Rector. “Then I heard the music and knew it’s where I belong.”
