Ding…time’s up. On to Branson.
Did I not predict this a few months back? A second greatest hits with few actual hits between 1 and 2 usually means a split is emminent.
Their string of 3 radio bombs was very sudden. They had consistent top 5 and even #1 singles for years and then they couldn’t get one to go top 20. Something changed with the label, management, etc. Radio doesn’t just stop playing an artist as abruptly as that.
I hope MG find their way somewhere else where they’re given another chance to succeed. And hopefully they return with a harder, more rock sound. Their last couple albums were a little too soft and generic. Maybe they’ll go to Toby Keith’s label?
Martina next. Does anyone think she’s Big Machine bound?
I thought what you thought…M/G and Toby. Get all the big ol’ boys on one label. Dang they could have one hell of a football team over there.
I hope they sign with Toby where they will be given FREEDOM and actually appreciated. No videos for how many songs? Give me a break! Columbia didn’t supoport them. Now maybe they can get Tony (AKA the best drummer ever) back. We miss that smile! Best wishes for Eddie, Troy and the whole Wild Bunch!!
a lot of venues have closed up north here, the music market is getting smaller quick..sales are way down nationally….just returned from the nashville area, it is a booming town down there, opposite of ohio for sure. country music is dead in ohio, period…
