Crime Or Publicity Stunt? While in Atlanta, promoting its new single, “Bible And The Belt,” Due West’s car was broken into and its backpacks, wallets, keys and laptops were stolen. They reported the break-in to the police, saying the thief needed a Bible and a belt.
Chris Filer dropped by the MusicRow corporate headquarters to learn more about the publication’s CountryBreakout radio chart and meet the staff. Filer’s new single is “John Deere, John 3:16”

Definitely not a publicity stunt. Black River Music Group’s VP and the Due West fellas, parked their Cadillac Escalade outside a radio station and it was burglarized within minutes. Sad because these artists played hero, not even a week prior at the area of a remote location photo shoot in the California desert. They witnessed a single vehicle crash involving a young mother and her children. They sprung into action and stabilized and comforted the children and the mother before medical arrived. A young infant was airlifted to a hospital and all are recovering nicely.
