Dolly Parton Reveals Vocalists For Symphonic Concert

Dolly Parton has revealed the seven vocalists who will perform her songs at the world premiere of her new symphonic concert, “Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony.”

The world premiere is set for March 20 in Nashville with the Nashville Symphony, led by Principal Pops Conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez. The featured vocalists for the show will be Katelyn Drye, Hollie Hammel, Julie Williams, Blair Lamb, Denitia, Ally Jackson and Katie Basden.

The groundbreaking multimedia symphonic experience will offer fresh interpretations of Parton’s iconic hits, taking audiences on a journey through her music and life as she shares personal stories and leads the evening on screen. “Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony” will showcase new, innovative orchestrations of Parton’s beloved songs by David Hamilton, seamlessly integrated into a full-length multimedia symphonic storytelling experience.

Following the world premiere, performances will take place across the country throughout the 2025-2026 season, with stops in San Diego, Columbus, Dallas and more.

“Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony” is produced by Parton in collaboration with Schirmer Theatrical and Sony Music Publishing, with concert bookings managed by Wasserman Music.

Warner Music Nashville Luncheon Returns To CRS 2025

The lineup has been announced for the annual Warner Music Nashville Luncheon, scheduled during CRS 2025. This year’s luncheon will feature performances from Gavin Adcock, Avery Anna (alongside special guest Sam Barber), Tyler Braden, Chase Matthew, Redferrin and Hudson Westbrook.

The Warner Music Nashville Luncheon will take place on Wednesday (Feb. 19) at 12:00 PM in the Omni Nashville Hotel’s Broadway Ballroom.

“This year’s lineup features artists who are creating some of the most reactive music in the country format right now,” shares Warner Music Nashville’s SVP of Radio & Commercial Partnerships, Kristen Williams. “Every night they turn audiences into fans and I am excited for everyone in attendance to be able to say, ‘I saw them first…,’ at CRS 2025.”

Advance registration for CRS 2025 is now closed. On-site registration will be available starting Wednesday, February 19, at the walk-up rate of $799.

Lineup Revealed For Palomino Stage At Stagecoach

Stagecoach, California’s country music festival, has officially announced the lineup for its popular Palomino Stage. It includes Lana Del Rey, Nelly, Sammy Hagar, Whiskey Myers, Sierra Ferrell, Koe Wetzel, Dylan Gossett, Goo Goo Dolls, Tracy Lawrence and many more.

Stagecoach, headlined by Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll and Luke Combs, returns to Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on April 25-27. Passes are available here.

On Friday (April 25), Lana Del Rey, Whiskey Myers, Sierra Ferrell, Nikki Lane, Drake Milligan, Tanner Usrey and Noeline Hofmann will grace the Palomino Stage. Saturday (April 26) will feature Nelly, Koe Wetzel, Dylan Gossett, Tommy James & the Shondells, Crystal Gayle, Myles Kennedy and Kashus Culpepper. On Sunday (April 27) the stage will see Sammy Hagar, Goo Goo Dolls, Tracy Lawrence, Treaty Oak Revival, The Bacon Brothers, Angel White and Waylon Wyatt.

In addition to the announcement, Stagecoach is also sharing plans for expansions on the grounds’ Rose Garden Saloon as well as improving the Rhinestone Saloon. Located next to the Palomino Stage, the Saloon will be open all day for the first time at Stagecoach. A special on-site grounds getaway, accessible to Saloon, Corral Seat and Corral Pit pass holders, the Rose Garden Saloon will feature food trucks and bars as well as extra picnic tables, shaded areas and restrooms with air conditioning. It will also see additions this year, including bleachers for seating and BBQ vendors that showcase a taste of Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse.

Noah Kahan, Sturgill Simpson, Megan Moroney, More Among Bourbon & Beyond Festival 2025 Lineup

The lineup has been revealed for the Bourbon & Beyond Festival, taking place Sept. 11-14 at Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

This year’s Bourbon & Beyond will feature The Lumineers, Benson Boone and Alabama Shakes on Thursday (Sept. 11), Phish, Khruangbin and Joe Bonamassa on Friday (Sept. 12), Sturgill “Johnny Blue Skies” Simpson, Jack White and Vance Joy on Saturday (Sept. 13), and Noah Kahan, Goo Goo Dolls and Megan Moroney on Sunday (Sept. 14).

Additional performers will also include Ringo Starr, Dylan Gossett, Flatland Cavalry, Trombone Shorty, Muscadine Bloodline, 49 Winchester, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Colbie Caillat, Morgan Wade, Sammy Rae, Gavin DeGraw, Austin Snell, Ashe, Redferrin, Kolby Cooper, Waylon Wyatt, Bayker Blankenship, Darren Kiely, Reid Haughton, Meg McRee, Rhonda Vincent, Jett Holden and many more.

The festival will also feature daily workshops and demonstrations highlighting America’s top chefs and Louisville’s dynamic bourbon and culinary scene on the festival’s workshop stage at The Bourbon Experience and The Culinary Atelier. Led by bourbon expert Chris Blandford, along with Chef Amanda Freitag, Chef Ed Lee and Chef Chris Santos, the event will offer bourbon tastings and culinary workshops that pair renowned master distillers with some of the nation’s best chefs, including special celebrity guest appearances at select workshops.

Joe Nichols Joins Justin Moore’s Summer Tour

Justin Moore has added Joe Nichols as direct support for his upcoming summer tour, which kicks off June 5 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The tour will visit seven cities across the country, including Louisville, Omaha, Cedar Rapids and more and will feature a 90-minute set of Moore’s biggest hits, as well as new music, including “Small Town USA,” “Bait A Hook” and his latest single “Time’s Ticking.” Moore recently notched his 13th No. 1 with “This is My Dirt,” and released his 12-track This is My Dirt album featuring Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton and Randy Houser in October.

Nichols will share his collection of chart-topping hits on the dates, including “Brokenheartsville,” “Gimme That Girl,” “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” and more along with his latest single, “Better Than You,” a duet with rising star Annie Bosko. Nichols is currently on tour supporting the release of his 11th studio album, Honky Tonks and Country Songs.

Artist and local pre-sale tickets for the dates go on sale this Wednesday (Feb. 12) and Thursday (Feb. 13), respectively. Public on-sale begins this Friday, (Feb. 14).

Weekly Register: Morgan Wallen Debuts At No. 1 On Country Songs Chart

Morgan Wallen holds the top position of the country albums and streaming songs charts this week, according to Luminate data. His 2023 One Thing At A Time album accrued 45K in total consumption (871 album only and 58 million song streams) and his newest track “I’m The Problem,” debuted at No. 1 on the songs chart with 26 million streams.

Also on the albums chart, Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album rises to the No. 2 position earning 33K in total consumption, Post Malone‘s F-1 Trillion climbs to No. 3 with 26K in total consumption, Beyonce‘s Cowboy Carter take No. 4 with 25K and Jelly Roll‘s Beautifully Broken rounds out the top five with 20K.

On the songs chart, Shaboozey remains at No. 2 with “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” earning 13 million streams adding to one billion, Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” jumps to No. 3 with 12 million streams, Wallen’s “Love Somebody” drops to No. 4 with 12 million and Wallen’s “Smile” claims 12 million.

Don Louis Releases ‘XO’ From New ‘Liquor Talkin’ Deluxe’ Album

Empire Nashville artist Don Louis has announced he’s releasing a deluxe version of his album Liquor Talkin’ on April 18. He’s previewing the expanded project with a brand new song,“XO,” along with a corresponding video.

Louis co-wrote “XO” alongside the track’s producer Kipp Williams, and while never officially released, it has remained a fan-favorite at his live shows. Just ahead of Valentine’s Day, “XO” finds Louis self-assured as a self-proclaimed knight in shining armor and starched jeans, brushing off the ones who jump to conclusions. With an infectious rhythm, the country jam blends Louis’ warm, deep-Southern drawl with modern beats and tips its hat to George Strait with a “Check Yes or No” reference.

“The inspiration for ‘XO’ struck me while listening to George Strait’s classic ‘Check Yes or No,’” says Louis. “I aimed to create a catchy tune that captures the thrill of connecting with someone special, while keeping that irresistible Southern country vibe. I truly believe ‘XO’ perfectly blends R&B and country.”

BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s Decades Party To Return For CRS 2025

BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville will host its Decades Party for Country Radio Seminar (CRS) 2025 on Feb. 20 at 9 p.m. in the Broadway Ballroom at the Omni Nashville Hotel.

“There’s a costume contest this year,” shares BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s EVP JoJamie Hahr. “This has gotten serious, folks. Bring your big hair, your sequins, your roller skates, and all the neon. Don’t let [Jon] Loba and me outdress you. Let’s dance!”

The Decades Party lineup will showcase chart-topping hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and beyond, with performers from the BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville roster, along with a few surprises. Hosted by SiriusXM’s Ania Hammar, the event will be a celebration of the music that shaped generations.

The Decades Party will take place right after Bob Kingsley’s Acoustic Alley and is open to all CRS registered attendees.

Zach Bryan Enters Top Five On MusicRow Top Songwriter Chart

Zach Bryan has re-entered the top five on the MusicRow Top Songwriter Chart this week. Solo-penned “Blue Jean Baby” and “High Road” push the singer-songwriter to No. 4 this week.

Ashley Gorley remains in the No. 1 spot with “Fix What You Didn’t Break,” “I Am Not Okay,” “I Had Some Help,” “Liar,” “Love Somebody,” “Park” and “This Town’s Been Too Good To Us.” Chris Stapleton stays at No. 2 with solo written “Think I’m In Love With You.”

Taylor Phillips (No. 3) and Charlie Handsome (No. 5) round out this week’s top five.

Mary Chapin Carpenter & Brandy Clark Announce Joint Tour

Mary Chapin Carpenter and Brandy Clark are teaming up for a special tour kicking off this summer.

The new tour includes stops in New York, Nashville, Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, Scottsdale, Charleston and more through Oct. 11. Tickets for the majority of shows will be available for pre-sale starting Feb. 11 with general on-sale on Feb. 14.

Carpenter has sold over 16 million records and has won five Grammys, two CMA Awards and two ACM Awards, and she is one of only 15 female members of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Carpenter most recently unveiled her new podcast, Hope is a Muscle, in which she chats with people from all walks of life. During its run, the podcast was in the top five music podcasts on both the Apple and Spotify platforms. Earlier this year, she also released Looking For The Thread, a collaborative project with Scottish singer-songwriters Karine Polwart and Julie Fowlis.

Clark won Best Americana Performance at the 66th Grammy Awards and Song of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards with her song, “Dear Insecurity,” featuring Brandi Carlile. Clark has also written songs such as “A Beautiful Noise,” the Grammy-nominated duet performed by Carlile and Alicia Keys, and Kacey Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow” and composed the music for the musical, Shucked, alongside her longtime collaborator Shane McAnally, which was nominated for Best Original Score at the 76th Tony Awards (where Shucked received nine nominations overall.)
