Brenda Lee’s long out-of-print 1963 early career collection, Love You!, is out today (Feb. 14) via MCA Nashville/UMe as an expanded digital Deluxe Edition.

The project features 20 rare tracks, every one of Lee’s recordings she made for Decca between 1956-62, in their streaming debuts. Love You! was first released in 1963 in the UK by Ace of Hearts, a label under Decca UK. This compilation brought together the A and B sides of non-album singles that were issued in the U.S. between 1957 and 1961. It begins with “Love You Til I Die,” the B-side to her hit “Dynamite,” recorded by “Little Miss Dynamite” when she was only 12 years old.

Love You! has now been expanded to feature 20 additional non-album singles, rarities and previously unreleased recordings, all recorded between 1956 and 1962. These tracks, which were previously included in various international compilations such as the 1974 German release The Legends Of Rock Vol. 2 Rare Items, the 1984 UK collection The Early Years, and Germany’s 1995 comprehensive box set Little Miss Dynamite from Bear Family Records, are now available for streaming for the first time.

The new additions include many of Lee’s earliest recordings such as her cover of Hank Williams’ “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” recorded in 1956 but unreleased for nearly three decades, as well as several alternate versions, first versions and second versions of tracks like “Bigelow 6-200,” the B-side to her first single, “Jambalaya,” the teenage heartbreaker, “Careless, That’ All” and her take on the Ink Spots’ classic “If I Didn’t Care.” Other standouts include “Some People,” “Funny Feelin’,” “Time Is Not Enough” and “Sweet Lovin’.”

Nashville-based director and photographer Emma Kate Golden has launched Golden Movie Ranch, a full-service gear rental and production company.

With an emphasis on creative collaboration and a strong vision for contributing to Nashville’s growing film community, Golden Movie Ranch offers a diverse range of services, including a broad selection of high-end production equipment designed to suit any project’s needs, from cameras and lighting to specialized rigging tools, custom-built production vehicles, such as a 1-ton grip van featuring a Palfinger liftgate for seamless load-in and load-out and comprehensive production support, including crew, equipment, and insurance, to ensure the flawless execution of projects like music videos, commercials, TV shows, feature films and more.

Golden Movie Ranch’s team includes Taylor Brink, Jake Moore and Braden Payne. Brink brings years of expertise in film production and creative services within the music industry. Moore, a seasoned cinematographer based in Nashville, joins as a consultant, with nearly a decade of experience in the city’s film scene. Payne, also serving as a consultant, is an accomplished Key Grip and Gaffer with extensive experience in lighting and rigging for both film and music productions.

“Since I started working on film sets in Nashville almost a decade ago, I’ve wanted to find a way to contribute positively,” shares Golden. “We are excited to launch a company that allows us to collaborate with our peers and contribute to the growth of the film community in Nashville.”

Chris Tomlin is an Executive Producer on the upcoming new film The Last Supper, due out March 14 from Pinnacle Peak Pictures and producer Michael Scott.

A treasure trove of unreleased material from Patsy Cline will be released on Imagine That: The Lost Recordings (1954-1963), a revelatory new collection from Elemental Music/Deep Digs due out on Record Store Day (April 12).

The limited edition two-LP set, produced in association with the Patsy Cline Estate, features 48 unissued tracks, all faithfully transferred, mastered and released for the first time. They cover the full breadth of the singer’s artistry, from her first days as a professional musician with Bill Peer & the Melody Boys and Girls in the early ‘50s to the peak of her popularity, just weeks before she tragically died at the age of 30 in a plane crash.

Drawn from radio broadcasts, TV shows, and demos, the meticulously restored performances cast a fresh spotlight on Cline’s powerful voice in an intimate, unadorned way. Alternate versions of Cline’s chart-topping crossover hits “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Crazy,” and “She’s Got You” are included, and she duets with such fellow country stars as Cowboy Copas (who died in the same crash that took Cline’s life), Ferlin Husky, Red Foley, Bobby Lord, Ernest Tubb, and Lonzo & Oscar.

Co-produced by award-winning archival producer Zev Feldman, Cline discographer and authority George E. Hewitt and sound restoration engineer Dylan Utz, Patsy Cline – Imagine That features a detailed track-by-track discography; a historical note by author/writer Martin Melhuish; reflections on Cline’s art by musicians k.d. lang, Marty Stuart, Ray Benson, and more. The two-LP set will also be released as two CDs and digital download on April 18.

Shania Twain, Tyler Hubbard and Lainey Wilson will headline the annual Cavendish Beach Music Festival, taking place July 10-12 in Cavendish, PEI, Canada.

Thursday (July 10) will showcase performances from The Wild Palominos, Tony Stevens, Sacha, Bryan Martin and Josh Ross, before culminating with a performance by Twain.

Amanda Rheaume will keep the weekend rolling on Friday (July 11), joined by Nate Haller, Adrien Nunez, Meghan Patrick and Stephen Wilson Jr. before Hubbard closes out the evening.

Justin Fancy will kick off the final day (July 12), followed by Abby Anderson, Tim & The Glory Boys, Bayker Blankenship and Wyatt Flores. The weekend will conclude with Wilson, marking her first-ever appearance in Atlantic Canada.
